So it looks like someone has a plan for building the base (I see some back walls up). It would be good if we all knew the plan. Anyone got a sketch so we can all start adding parts when we're on? One base I saw was well laid out with houses for each member and a giant perimeter wall with a walled area inside for the dinos. Also got to think about a garden and some towers for defense or a walkway at the top of the wall... just some random thoughts

I think Funk wins the award for best builder for today. That fence all the way around is massive. My OCD side is still freaking out that the ends of the wall don't meet up perfectly, but I think we can work around that. We need to eventually build spikes around it to keep raiders from coming up on dinos and knocking it down. I also think we should build a couple look out towers around the perimeter and place some catwalks.

Well thanks guys. I've played enough Minecraft to know to go hard the first few days to get established. Now that the wall is almost complete we can gather supplies and plan out a larger, metal base without worrying too much about raiders. One with walls that actually meet up.

FYI, the server is back online and updated to v177.0.

I'm 34, and I was pretty small when it was out - maybe 6 or 7. Maybe Thunder saw it on reruns.

I just checked wiki, aired for 2 months in '88, re-runs ran through 1990. I only remember it because I was briefly obsessed with dinosaurs after the land before time.

Your glasses are a skin for your hat. I got those from a supply drop, they skin a saddle and show up on the dino.
