Ok, The new server is up and running and the name is TCOV's Playground. Everything you had at around 6-7 pm central time on July 2 is on the new server. This includes levels, engrams, stat points, items, buildings, and dino's. It's a mirror image of Alien'sLand.com | PVP.

A funny glitch from tonight. D'Funk was riding Freddy Sting Your Ass, but on my screen it showed him riding it via holding on for dear life to one of its back legs.

Edit: NM, I think it's me. When I try to craft walls while mounted my game is crashing. That's new...

I lost the TCOV's Playground server again, and now I can't find it. At least this time I had the dinos put away when it crashed.
I planned to finish the back wall tonight since I know you guys worked a lot on it earlier, but with all the time I've spent messing with it I'm out of time. I have to get to bed so I can drive tomorrow. I'm out of town all weekend, so I'll see you guys next week.

I was searching around trying to find out what happened to the Alien's Land server and found your thread.
My husband and I had been playing for the past few days on that server and had a base and a few dinos. I joined the TCOV's Playground server and everything in the area our base was at is reset, not to mention I lost my character too.
Anyone know how I can fix that? I tried adding the admin, I think, to see if they could help but haven't been accepted as of yet.

I'm assuming you were playing on the Alien's Land | Texas Dedicated server. About a week ago we moved from that server to AliensLand.com | PVP. They were both run by the same server admin who allowed us to upload/download our characters since he was shutting down the first server. We kept our character progress but no items, structures or dinos so we had to start from scratch. Now it looks like AliensLand.com | PVP is shutting down as well. A full copy of that server was moved to TCOV's Playground which included all of our items and dinos.
I don't know if they are allowing character or dino downloads on the new server. Since you're only a couple days in, it won't be bad to start over with new characters.

No downloads onto the new server. That option is turned off.

It's my understanding that it should already have been copied over (no need to move using obelisk) if it was active up until last night at least.

Just got about 500 metal and 17 crystals from one trip up to the mountain. 3 metal picks plus two trikes to carry it all = success!
I built a rifle+scope for myself, and there are 2 other rifles + ammo in the smithy. First come first serve.

Ok. So, the [Classified] [Classified] the base [Classified] is the one to go to. Tex and I harvested over [Classified] [Classified] and like [Classified] each of [Classified] and [Classified]. I also crafted [Classified] [Classified]. Currently only [Classified] [Classified] for it, but that can be changed.

Is anyone else having terrible lag problems on this new server? I get bad rubber banding and quite frequently my key strokes don't register, which can be very dangerous when I am trying to dismount a flier...

I know they were working on server optimization last night. I'm sure it will take a decent amount of tweaking till it's a really good balance.

It's back.
New issue. The build limit on this server is way too low. I can't even place a torch anywhere near our base.
Part of it is the difference between Alien who was paying $200 a month and the new $57 a month server.
