i think it is pretty clear that we'll get a reveal that someone else has been behind the Pykes. we just know so little about them so far, i think it's because they're saving it for the finale.

i'm less sure as to "who" the reveal will be. i actually think it's more likely to be someone else, other than Thrawn, just to give Ahsoka's show its own plot line.
If they were to drop Thrawn down to being some type of spice runner, it'll be the biggest waste of a villain in a long time.

I either wake up an hour early before work to watch or just have to stay off social media. I measure how wild the episode is by how many unread comments this thread has.

The only explanation I've seen is they don't want to take eyes away from their network channels during primetime.

But seriously, they need to give up the ridiculous midnight PT drop. At least make it midnight ET.

Kinda wild to think we watched 6 episodes of minimal action in a show 'about Boba Fett" and now we're waiting for a bunch of edgy scene spy kids on power ranger vespas that max out at 15 mph to go fight a galactic drug running crime organization.

I understand it's really inconvenient, especially when social media is part of your work/life, but I do relish the thrill of knowing I'm one of the first ones to see it and the 2:45-3:15 a.m.TexAgs crowd is a lot of fun, especially after several of the second season Mando epsiodes.

I've gotten in the habit of crashing on the couch for a couple of hours with my alarm set for 2 a.m, watching it, then going to CPAP-ville. 1 hour less of sleep per week for brand-new Star Wars content is a plenty fair trade off.

I've also heard that it has something to do with midnight pacific being some kind of primetime hour in Japan that's important? Though, I don't know why Japan would take precedent over the US, so who knows. Either way, it really does suck and I will never understand it.

Staying up to watch tonight, of course, but I'm honestly kind of looking forward to not having to do this again until March 30, when Moon Knight debuts. In fact, I probably won't even need to see that "live" and can wait 'til the next day, so I might not have to do this again until Obi-Wan in May.

the pikes will be winning the final battle. i'm thinking like a mudhorn situation...mando is about to be injured/killed by something, but is stopped. cut to Grogu using the force to stop it and then Luke's and Ahsoka's light sabers light up and the tide turns.

emotional goodbyes where Luke goes to open his academy and Ahsoka goes to find Thrawn.

The new poster seems to indicate that you might be right.

Just caught up with the show & thread in the nick of time. Fun read and watch! I really liked the Tuskan Raider info, I always wanted a deeper dive into their fiction.

My idle comments from the series.

1) What do bantha eat? Where do they drink? How could a desert of sand support a wooly mammoth equivalent? Wouldn't they overheat and starve?

2) Why do so many of the characters have bandoleers of bullets? They all use lasers.
