I think it did a great job of giving reason to a lot of what sucked so badly about episode 8. I'm not saying it was a great movie, I'm saying I thought it did a good job, given the hole that episode 8 dug.

Sort of considering just playing The Old Republic for the next 3-1/2 hours 
So we have thrown out Thrawn and Qi'ra as potential villains. Who else could it be? I had joked Jar -Jar, but is there someone else big name, that is tied to Boba Fett?

I only watched the first half of Bad Batch, but why would Omega become a villain?
No idea. I am.only picking her because she was a Clone. I.e a connection with Fett. I would probably rather pick a reanimated Mace with Jangos head in a bag. But that seems far fetched.

My guess is Omega is still pretty new to be thrown into one of these series. Her story will unfold more on Bad Batch.
If Thrawn shows up in Ahsoka's show, there's a really good chance Ezra shows up there as well.

We didn't get Mephisto, but you're forgetting that Mando S2 surprised us with Luke, Loki surprised us with Kang, and Hawkeye surprised us with Kingpin. In other words, more of these Disney+ series than not have surprised us with massive cameos/villains in the finales.

20 minutes in (got a late start) and this is terrible so far. Boba Fett really is a complete dolt on so many levels. It's going to take a hell of a second half to save this thing…
Grogu going "nite nite" may be the cutest thing I've seen.

I had a blast watching it. We all knew the Rancor was coming but it was somehow still spectacular. Great to see Grogu made the choice with no hesitation and did his part without being too all powerful. Looking forward to watching mando and fett fighting together again, that was great. Also really enjoyed fennel being the assassin at the end at the pyke hq. Nobody likes the Vespas and I wish the aquarist could have killed a few more of them, but they were tolerable. Got major sons of the harpy vibes from the trandoshans when they came after krrsantan and great to see full on wookiee rage in effect. Sorry to see bane go, but fett needed somebody to kill. Him telling fennec they aren't cut out to run the city makes me believe if there is a season 2 of this show, they will be doing something off tatooine, a new chapter of the book of Boba fett. The last scene with the Vespa was fairly lame but redeemed by mando and grogu. Also, fett and the rancor saved Mos espa about like superman saved metropolis vs zod, by destroying 75% of it. In conclusion, I'm sure the law firm of whiny and moan will be in full effect here Wednesday, and that's cool, but it was a fun ride for me, with the good far out weighing the bad. Now for 3 hours of sleep before I wake my girl up and tell her that grogu chose the armor, just like she thought.

the finale was... whelming. Another Robert Rodriguez episode with awkward cuts and camera angles, just felt kind of jarring.
Even though it was cool to see grogu get FedEx'd back by Luke, was hoping they left Grogu and Din's reunion for Mando season 3. I guess this way they can just hit the road running for Mando S3.

That makes sense, was watching on an iPad mini laying in bed and got distracted when I thought Thundercat was about to play some bass
It almost feels like Disney got the invoice for doing the deep fakes and decided they can't do Luke anymore; get Grogu back to Mando as fast as possible
