I still don't think this show is very good, but that was easily the best episode yet. We *finally* got Boba Fett's motivation (it only took four episodes!), and I'm so glad we're done with the flashbactas (the story itself was good, but the structure not so much). All the Slave One stuff was pretty cool too.
Obviously, the Mandalorian himself is about to reappear, which is legit exciting, and will hopefully turn these final three episodes into essentially season 2.5 of that show, bridging the gap to season three. I could not care less about the Pyke syndicate stuff, but at least we're building toward something now, and about to do so with the aid of a proven character we know and love.

Ahh, interesting, I didn't make that connection. So you think Fennec was alluding to Mando when she mentioned buying muscle at the end? I guess that would make the most sense if the intention was to bring Mando into this series.TCTTS said:

1st half of that episode was so corny. Feeding the bantha...ugh. And then when the tiny probe is scanning the palace I felt like I was watching some SyFy channel series and not Star Wars.

I feel like the plan to shine a flashlight down the Sarlac pit lacked a little bit of critical thinking.

Guess he was unconscious when they stripped him, though. Still, kind of a stupid detour, considering we as an audience were so far ahead of him.
By this time on a Wednesday there are usually like 30 more posts about the newest episode. Even more so for the more popular SW/Marvel series. It really is crazy how much last week's episode seemingly killed interest/momentum in this show.
Also, helloimustbegoing has seemingly given up on us (being so negative) or the show altogether, as I haven't seen him comment once on last week's episode or this one, which is surprising.

I think we will all agree that this show is about 3 episodes too long.
I thought 2 and 4 were good. Despite the logical flaws. And why was the wookie all of a sudden pissed off? Among other things already mentioned. I mean, its really hard to consistently **** up this source material.
We all know that dude that has too much anger and when he can't get to the gym or a football field goes and gets in fights at bars after drinking
I'll try to say something positive…..the artwork at the end credits is cool.
I wish someone would attempt to do an entire animated movie or series that was on par with/in the vein of the concept art featured in the end credits of these shows. Because the art is always so much more beautiful and evocative than what we ultimately get.

The show had very little "now" in it. If the whole series had been the flashbacks leading up to the end of this episode, it would be a pretty good show.
This show has been such a disappointment in so many ways but I was never going to stop watching. As was said they should have started with this episode basically.
But this at least saved it enough imo, especially with the end scene music and for telling of what's to come.

I mean, if we sit here and nitpick everything that doesn't make sense like that then we'll never enjoy any Star Wars or Marvel property.
