I still really think we're gonna get a Q'ira reveal in this….she won't have much of a scene in the season finale but it'll setup a season 2 for sure.

And as much as I dogged on this show before Mando showed up, a season two without the weird flashback structure, and even potentially without Mando, really does have a ton of potential. Now that we know Boba Fett's motivation, and the wheels are fully in motion plot-wise, they could really do some cool things here, with a more expansive cast of characters. Especially if Cad Bane is involved (and Robert Rodriguez isn't).
Lot of speculation that Cad and Fett will have a showdown of sorts as a second round from a battle they had before where it basically ended in a stale mate

Knowing that Filoni is the writer and showrunner on Ahsoka, I can't wait for the scenes where Ahsoka and Luke first meet, and talk about Anakin. Maybe even Padme, too.

I just can't believe we had Mando, Grogu, R2, Asokha, Luke, and Cad Bane all in the same episode. I hope Cad Vanth is ok. I hope he gets modded ala Shand. Can't wait for the big showdown with the Pykes.

Season 2 of "What if?" gets weird.
I'm hoping he saw the trend happening in 5 and 6 and keeps it going.
I expect it to be underwhelming, because if anything the last 2 episodes just reinforces what I was thinking after the first 3 episodes. I would love to be pleasantly surprisedjokershady said:

He also directed the episode of mando that introduces fett, on tython, with epic fight scenes, which was universally praised on this board.

Yeah I'm sure the whole world is clamoring for a remake of On Golden Pond in the Star Wars universe. Can't wait to see some old people talk about their feelings by a lake on some cool alien world.

On a different note, there are so many ways they could go with this last episode and lots of different characters that could appear.

Does RR really deserve all of the blame for his two episodes? I thought the story sucked.

Personally, I've enjoyed the entire series so far, with the exception of that low speed "chase" and the look of the Mos Espa Vespas.
Had they made a competent chase scene that didn't look so slow, and made the team look not so cheesy and Power Rangers, I'd have almost no major complaints other than just a slow start.
I haven't minded the flashbacta structure too much.

Honestly, the vespa chase episode was the only one I thought was "bad." I have other complaints, mostly about Boba's apparent lack of knowledge about the crime world, but have generally enjoyed the show.
It's by no means perfect, of course.
