I said this exact same thing to some friends of mine yesterday. ABML is down two days in a row, its bound to go up Friday.HoustonAggie37713 said:Put it in ABML today. Its already dipped the last two days. Consolidation periods are great for adding. BMIX has dips ahead if you want some of it.TexAgs91 said:YesHoustonAggie37713 said:TexAgs91 said:
I have some extra play money. What percent should I put into BMIX and ABML?
Are you looking to hold long term?

Any thoughts on what kind of floor BMIX might have before there's cause for concern?

I think it would depend on what causes the drop. If it's just trading swings I won't be concerned. If they announce the CEO leaving or that they found nothing in a drilling area that would be different. The former might cause me to buy more. The latter might concern me.
I sat on Red Hat for 14 years while it farted around. Sold right before it went up 400%. This is nothing.agdaddy04 said:

You made me re-register an account to say thank you. I deleted my prior account (Sid) to delete my political posting history.
I have a friend with ties to ABML who told me about the stock about a month ago. I happened to check in to Texags and found this thread. What you've posted validated what my friend pitched to me.
I'm in Houston in law and amateurly in finance. Would be happy to buy you lunch with my friend for you guys to compare notes.
I'm plowing more into ABML and may pick up some BMIX as a lottery ticket.
Nice. The friend I have with ties to ABML works as an executive for Apple and has seen his net worth go from $4 to $160 million in a year. Sound familiar?

Tibbers you gotta be patient, youve owned this stock for like a week lol? Houston Aggie has said repeatedly this is a long term hold. You have to expect volatility with a stock like this. Just be patient or dont invest in individual stocks.Tibbers said:
BMIX may end up in my trading career which granted is just starting as my biggest mistake. I bought at the high point thinking it would continue running up and am now stuck with the position until it comes back to get my money back. All good as I was holding long term anyway, but man, just seeing it sitting there with little to no movement is a bummer every time I look at my portfolio. That being said, it has been a huge education and I still think it will come back once things get started down there in Brazil. Just have learned to calm down big plays like that. This thread and the stock market thread has been a huge, huge crash course in how to trade so I really appreciate everyone on here.
Tibbers, this was your post about 24 hours ago. Come on brother!Tibbers said:
Hell yeah to abml and BMIX. These are Doug flutie like long plays. TSNP/Humbl is also a damn winner too. In two days, it's almost up 100 percent. As the CEO Brian Foote says, "from zero to one then from one to one hundred"

Tibbers another thing, you keep referring to this as trading. This is not day trading. Houston Aggie has said over and over hes not day trading this stock. These are long-term buy and hold plays. Theres a huge difference brother.Tibbers said:
