If you own GME you have serious risk on getting paid out. Ameritrade isn't going to cover your win once the funds declare bankruptcy. Best of luck.
Did you lose your ass or something?

I'm not in GME anymore, because I already took my profits. I also took a very nice gain on AMC this morning.

There are many reasons not to invest in either, but it seems like you just want to panic people.

After all that I won't sell a share. Long ABML and BMIX.
Lets go! Im riding this one with you brother.

I'll let the board know when I sell. Literally the second after. If Texags is even around then.

I've been wondering about the end and if you'd come back. If this is really long, this thread will eventually die in a few weeks. I could honestly use the break. I'm behind on work at this point ....

Do you personally have a financial advisor or wealth manager or do your own work? I have a call with mine Friday and haven't talked to him about any of these plays, but I'm curious what he says.

Finally in at $3.50. Let's ride this thing through March and see how wild of a ride it is.

I realize now that I can't leave the people who invested in this with me. I'll be here. It all started with me running my mouth on the Politics board. But here we are.

I raise capital for a hedge fund. I'm not even a professional trader. But I do know how to research and what the new administration means.

The amount of money I will need to make to actually y make me sell is quite large. So of course I'll be here if that day comes. My guess is I'll sell some once this hits long term cap gains. But I'll keep holding plenty. In the mean time, lots of exciting updates on ABML/BMIX to come. Some of it very soon.

Not that it matters but on my original stock pick thread I posted 3 picks. ABML, BMIX, and GNUS. I was trashed repeatedly.

Looky there, GNUS just roofed. 3 for 3.

And I recommend Fisher Investments to manage your account. Dan Koenig is a solid Aggie. He wants my account and we toss ideas back and forth. But I just can't give up the control yet. Maybe when I'm 50.

Thanks for the tips. Jumped in on ABML and BIMX.

Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason you like the lithium market over other clean energy such as solar or electric engines that might see favor in this administration?

Yes. Scarcity. Whole lotta sun. Very little lithium.

On top of that, clean energy needs batteries to work. Electric cars need batteries to store energy, regardless of how that energy is created. And solar and wind energy benefit from battery technology through load balancing, storing excess at peak production and releasing it when production falls. And for now lithium batteries are the leading technology.

I took a position in BMIX and ABML today. Will be very interested to see where we go.

Just for your entertainment though - I made sure it was all from GME profits.

Yes but full disclosure I invested in GNUS in September. I did a lot of research on it but it's dated. I do know that there is a big float. And I see no news worthy of chasing it today. Although I'm looking at the chart and I see big after hours potential.

In on BMIX @ $.0379.

Never bought a penny stock before and fully prepared to lose it all on this.

Same here man. Never invested in penny stocks before. If I lose it all, then oh well its just a little play money for me. If I hit big, then even better! Either way its a fun ride.

Lots. Mainly a rumor that they had all of Stan Lee's collection. It turned out to be just the rights to unreleased material. Valuable but not game changing.

Shaq, Warren Buffett, and Arnold are involved.

In BMIX at $.04. Set GTC for half at $.08. Getting to net free as quickly as possible is pretty much how I play Craps and we all know that's what pennies are. With any luck I'll trip that in tomorrow's early volatility.

This is my second penny stock. For those of you that don't keep up with the Stock Market thread here's the story. It's too good not to share.

  • In July I buy 2500 shares of ZOM at $.17. Looking for a short term flip on a volatile penny stock. And like all good traders I kill the stock and it starts trading down.
  • At $.08 (October timeframe) I buy another 2500 so now I'm at $.125 for 5000 shares.
  • A couple of weeks or so after second purchase the company announces it will take it's only product to market by March 31. That turns the stock and it starts trading up again.
  • Over the next several weeks it makes a number of leaps up with big days followed by several days of consolidation, leap, consolidate, etc.
  • In first week of Jan I sell 2500 shares at $.27 so now I'm net free plus a $50 profit.
  • In second week of January this thing starts going ape ***** Big leaps and suddenly we're at $.93. I set a sell order at $1 for the rest but don't set it for GTC. This is a Monday afternoon.
  • Tuesday morning I wake up and check my phone to find it's at $1.13. I immediately change the sell order and get $1.16 for 1000 shares.
  • I start to research, why so far so fast? At this point it's important to know that ZOM's one product is in the veterinarian pharma space. So I find an article saying that the run is believed to be because someone paid Carol Baskin $299 to mention ZOM's new product in a podcast and how she couldn't wait to give it to her kitties.
  • After laughing for a minute I promptly sell the remaining 1500 shares for $1.14.
  • Total profit of $2920 on a $625 trade thanks to Carol Freakin' Baskin.
