Windmills alone? No. But if you are talking about energy market dominance, it is very possible to get away from fossil fuels as our primary sources of energy. A HUGE problem in any of these ventures (related to this thread as a whole) are the inefficiencies with current batteries and energy transmission. You can develop the most bad-assed solar panel ever, but if you can't hold and then transmit that energy without significant energy drop, then the tech overall is limited. Even nuclear is limited if you can't efficiently store the energy, though it is extremely efficient. In alignment with green energy tech investment HAS to be improvements in energy storage and transfer.

Fossil fuels no longer being the primary source of energy (<50%)? Maybe someday. I don't see it happening in America in the next 30 years.

Not sure where everyone is going to go. All platforms had same issues and pulled same sh^t from what I've seen. RH clearly separated themselves from the pack as the worst, so I would at least dump them but all the big guys had same issues at one point or another.
Fidelity has been very good throughout this whole thing. Merrill has been ok. Said there were restrictions on buying with margin but all my trades executed.
Fidelity limited trading in 0 DTE GME options today. I tried to buy an OTM put spread, and they wouldn't fill the order due to "risk of loss" even though my total possible loss would have been covered by the cash in my account.

The only issues I've had with Fidelity is when the broader market sells off due to increased volatility, ATP slows down to a screeching halt. I jump over to the app and can manage things. They have limited same day expiry option purchases except for Spx since it cash settles.
Thanks for this info. I have had the screeching halt on ATP happen a couple of times in instances like you say and wanted to ring its neck. Will try the app now if it happens again.
Would be convenient for me since everything but my wife's 401k is there. My few fun time stocks are all at ETrade though simply because I've had investments out there for 25 years. Maybe need to look at moving those over to Fidelity as well. It's funny I've had my individual stocks cycle through about 6 different platforms as those guys bought one another out and consolidated over the last 20+ years. Just doing my DD, they have exploratory permits. Two new ones on Thursday but no upward movement on the stock. Looking at Brazilian mining laws, exploratory permits are only phase 1. They would still need to apply for mining permits. They haven't done that yet. How can you make money mining lithium when you haven't even started to mine yet? Couple that with the rise of ABML and the benefit of recycling lithium here in the states, lessens the need to mine in other countries.
I'm stuck at my position but the more I research, the less confident I am in it. Lesson learned on buying into the hype and when to position. Thanks for the education HoustonAg.

as has been said repeatedly, many are in long on these two stocks. what is your strategy here?
My strategy is to buy and hold. My concern is, this company has a long way to go before getting the lithium out of the ground. They may not really even know how to do that and are waiting for help. They have not filed for mining permits and have never done so in their company's history. Lots of companies can get exploratory permits, sigma for one.
Couple that with the push for keeping lithium production in house with AMLM and ABLM's recycling plants and I'm a bit worried. Was hopeful for some positivity to get my hopes back up for the future of BMiX.

So my first response on this thread was "BMIX. Get in Monday. Don't sell".
The stock was at .007 when I posted that. It's up 400% since then.
As far as good news, they announced permits, followers are up huge, and lithium plays are starting to catch institutional attention.
If you want to day trade news spikes my advice will be worthless. I'm still long for all the reasons discussed in the first 20 pages.
Going forward this thread will not be as exciting. But I will be posting updates and research as long as people want them. Good or bad. Despite my evil capitalistic motives, I want to help.
