I would like to point out that I have read more than a few articles chastising non-England fans for disliking the "It's Coming Home" song. "We're being ironic. We're not arrogant. It was made by a couple of comedians you're just being too sensitive."

It is a pretty catchy song, to be fair.
Saw the replay of the 2nd goal and yikes...Walker did it again. Needlessly collapsed in and left the entire right half of the defense exposed. Not a good game from Kyle.
I've said before, England's view of their place in the soccer world is wildly out of touch with reality. Until that changes, results like this please me.
They invented the game, and have won a World Cup before, so they have incredible legacy. Sorta like the Cowboys…

Now that we got that out of the way, the main event is in about 2.5 hours
Dallas has won 5 SB titles since England last won a trophy in the Euros, WC, or confed cup (when it mattered).

-They designed and created the sport and system 90% of the world follows and emulates.
-Their domestic league is watched by the entire world. That's because their domestic league has the best players and the most money in it and followed by it and supported by it.

Spain were rewarded for having the bravery to play their young guns and not hanging on to their aging dinosaurs.
As an American, I don't mind rooting for the English. They've never beaten the USA at the World Cup. This fact alone makes me not hate them; I just smile when I think of England.
They lose on the largest stages, often dramatically, and the drama is wonderful. I enjoy international soccer as a soap opera, and England is a star player in that bill, babe…

Spain has been the best team all tournament. They beat Italy, beat Croatia, beat Germany, beat France and beat England. It was a deserving championship. 4th European championship coming home……..
