Definitely feel like I'm watching Mexico play Honduras.
There's something strangely intoxicating about watching England struggle. If you were to add up player market values, I would expect England to be around Manchester City or Real Madrid. Maybe even higher. And I'd expect Slovenia to be near the Premier League relegated teams or the ones promoted from the Championship. (And a big chunk of that will be Sesko).

Watkins should be starting up front. Makes that front 3 of Foden, Saka and Watkins so much more fluid. And honestly, I'd move Foden into CAM, Gordon out LW and bench TAA as well

Kane hasn't gotten service in the final third but he's also made really bad decisions when he does get the ball in a deeper position and when England does manage to play through him. That layoff to Palmer (who I thought was miles better than Saka on the right) was not the right play. He should have played the 1-2 with Mainoo who continued his run and even pointed to where he wanted the ball. If Kane makes that pass instead, it's an opportunity 10 yards and right in the center of goal rather than from wide right and at the edge of the box.
Harry Kane wasn't getting a lot of service, true, But he was losing the ball a lot when he did have it, and I can't remember him doing really anything in the second half. I think he should have been subbed around 60', captain or not.
I hope England ends up with the Dutch next round… only because it means we'll only have to see one of those turds in the QFs.
(I was really hoping they'd meet France for the same reason - they're even more uninspiring than the Dutch, but sadly that ship has sailed).
