I hope Croatia can pull it off.

Also hoping Albania can pull off a miracle and beat Spain to knock Italy to 4th. I came into the match as a neutral, but Italy played poorly and I hope they get bounced.

You're kinda barking up the wrong tree. Fox has no affiliation with Fubo other than that they sublet games to them.

You can blame the market. Fox clearly made more by subleasing than they would from commercial revenue in these 8AM blocks.

For Fubo, if they get soccer diehards (like me) to switch their cable service to them for a month or two, they stand to make a lot more money than anyone could from commercials for 8AM soccer.

And honestly, it's not much of a burden to the consumer if you knew about it in advance and planned accordingly… I had zero cable prior to this event, and fully planned on getting a streaming cable service for a couple months. So when I learned some games would only be on Fubo, I chose Fubo… not just for Fubo, but for Fox and all the games. Anyone who was month-to-month for their cable (or other cable-like streaming) could've made a temporary switch.

Every match for Euros and Copa streaming on Fubo

Every match for Euros and Copa on Fox/FS1/FS2 except for 3 of the least interesting 8am central time Euro group stage matches during the first two match days.

Can't complain too much. You'll get every match on the last match day of group stage (just have to pick one or go between as there will always be two on at once of course), plus every QF, SF, and final as well as 3rd place match (if applicable- Copa has one and Euro doesn't).

Was the pivot to Fubo done late? I swear I saw promotional materials saying all games were going to be on Fox or one of the Fox Sports channels.

Sublease of 5 games per Euro (for 2024 and 2028) was agreed in 2022.
