The one at Mueshke?

Yes that's the one. By the poker club lol. We stopped by there late one night not knowing how small it was. We pulled in and nobody was in there other than the cashier so we just kept on driving.

Buc-ee's is selling store #12 to 7-eleven

(Brace for "Store #12 in CS on TexAgs)

They sold El Campo to 7-Eleven several years ago.

Most businesses don't reuse store numbers, and the ones that do usually have the new store directly replace the old one (like Walmart).

Popular recreational sport pickleball is getting a new premier complex in Bryan, adding to the numerous
pickleball offerings in Aggieland.

The overview

Pickleball is a paddle sport similar to tennis and badminton, but it sees a lot of recreational play in Bryan-College Station.

The city of Bryan has 26 pickleball courts open to the public, along with the Brazos Valley Pickleball Association meeting at courts around the area for open play. The association offers memberships to those who want to attend events throughout the year.

About the project

Pickleball Junction is an 18-court facility with a restaurant and bar, featuring handcrafted dishes and artisan cocktails. The courts will also feature PodPlay, which is software allowing match replays and live scoreboards.
State filings show construction is ongoing at a 1.28-acre lot with a price tag of $3.5 million. This is not a city-affiliated project.

Super excited about Cabo Bob's, it's already the best burrito place in Austin hands down.

Only downside, if there is one: like CFA, closed on Sundays

Did the City of Bryan get their $2 million pay back? Sounds like movie bowl is deader.

https://www.kbtx.com/2026/07/18/schulmans-movie-bowl-grille-faces-2-million-repayment-deadline-city-bryan/

Quote:

Friday marked a key deadline for the unfinished Schulman's Movie Bowl Grille project at Travis Bryan Midtown Park.
City documents show a $2 million loan approved by the Bryan City Council in 2024 is due to be repaid July 17, 2026, but as of Friday afternoon, city officials said they could not yet confirm whether a payment had been received.
The City of Bryan provided KBTX with a payoff letter dated July 16, 2026 related to the promissory note. In that letter, the city lists a total payoff amount of $2,209,608.41, which includes the $2,000,000 principal plus accrued interest.
The letter also states the payoff amount must be received by 1 p.m. Central time on July 17 in order for the borrower to avoid additional interest, fees, and other charges.

I was thinking of "Roosters," the coffee shop/bicycle sales and repair place that used to be in the shopping center where Hurricane Harry's was. I believe they were going to relocate. Does anyone know if they found a place?

Interesting. There is (or was) a "Carps Sports Bar n Grill" on Hwy 21 near Marino Rd. (I was thinking it was on Texas Ave in North Bryan.) I wonder if they are related?

Edit: and another on Fitch?

It looks like it's legally attached to a house address out in the sticks. I wouldn't show up looking for coffee.

Nope, after he had all the AC issues, there's not any darts teams playing out of Yesterdays. 4 Downs, POETS, and The Owl are the only places where darts league is played.

My guess would be firefighters in town for fire school?
