FWIW, Buffalo Wild Wings is closed today and Monday (8/17) for retraining and reorganizing the store. It went from being a franchise-owned store to a company owned store a week ago. At that time, they did an inventory and postponed training until today and tomorrow. Existing staff is still in place, but they don't know how such things as daily specials and prices may change. I've been to other corporate owned BWWs and found their found to be at least one cut above that which we got from these franchise owners from San Antonio. I understand the franchise owners sold all their stores to the company.

A renovation of this store was supposed to be done late this fall. No one seems to know it that will still be in the works. It does need refreshing. I do know that they will be installing an entire new computer/ordering system. How that may affect the menu, ordering, a Buzztime Trivia update to pads instead of old Playmakers, or TV channel selections, was unclear.

Mad Taco will open another location in BCS. No other details known.

The donut/kolache shop on Southwest PKWY where Casa Rod Express used to be, is now open. Their breakfast tacos were really, really good! Donut was good. Will maybe try a kolache next time, but they will definitely be my go-to for breakfast tacos!

I believe the first two levels of those garages are for retail customers - at least they were painted that way the last time I was there.

I really wish they'd advertise this better, both there and at The Rise. Took me a year to find out that CVS has parking spots in the garage...and I live right over there.

New hotel, TRYP by Wyndam going into old Aggieland Inn building on Texas Avenue.

Next door, different owner, in the other old building is going to be a professional building with doctors, etc. and a FEDEX office.
