anyone selling an entry-level dSLR or a G10/G11? This is my first jump into the world of digital photography. I spent some time in college under the esteemed Journalism Department's (RIP) Howard Eilers learning the fine art of film processing, and I couldn't allow myself to get rid of my old camera. It has been a couple of years, but I would like to get back into photography (mostly landscapes and architecture). I'm not looking to grow pro or anything. Just looking for a hobby.

I could really use input from the folks on this thread in finding a PNS that has the following features:
- 720p (or better) video
- Zoom during videos
- Good low light / indoor picures
- (Optional) Uses AA/AAA batteries
Here's a short list of what I've found that fits the bill, including prices - comparison
A few questions for anyone ho can still help:
1. Are these PNS 720p 30fps videos any good? How taxing are they on your computer compared to 480 or 1080?
2. Are there any cameras I have missed?
3. Other than the zoom, are there any advantages of going with the superzooms over the compacts?
As a side comment, we currently have a cheap Canon A1000IS (480 video) and Canon HV20 camcorder (1080i video). My wife mainly uses them to film the kid, so the convenience of a single device is most important. We're looking for something with better video than the A1000IS and hoping to get better indoor / low light stills in the process.
TIA

Three of the five cameras in your link (ZS3 included) are probably not going to do what you want simply because of the max aperture of f/3.3. Go for f/2.8 or lower. This affects indoor/low light situations.
