Found a base owned by Texas Aggies but no one seems to be around. Is there a way to join your tribe without one of you being present?
You've got to be near another tribe member to invite them to join. Our tribe is called DinosMatter, the other base may be an older base. We are playing on Alien's Land | Texas Dedicated

I was watching a random twitch stream last night of a group of high level people with tamed t-rexes and everything.
They were farting around in base crafting materials when all of a sudden they hear an explosion. He's on his own team speak and he hears over comms "The earthworms are attacking".
Hordes of guys on t-rexes with rocket launchers and flying pterodactyl bombers started attacking their base. The guys on stream loaded up on their own pets and rides and tried to defend against the invasion, but it was no use.
They lost their lvl98 txrex. poor girl.
An epic night time raid of an enemy base riding a t rex.
They were farting around in base crafting materials when all of a sudden they hear an explosion. He's on his own team speak and he hears over comms "The earthworms are attacking".

I saw that too. Criken's tribe with an alliance of other tribes attacked Farlight's tribe. It was crazy.

Base is looking mighty fine! Have a pen with not 2, not 4, but 6 dinos in there. You guys did some great work on the pen and 2nd floor tonight- kicking ass
If there's a trick to the server filtering, I have yet to figure it out. Even with Wee_ag on my friends list, I still can't find the server y'all are on. I realize that this is a pre-release, but there are certain pieces of functionality that should exist (and shouldn't be that difficult to implement).
Our server isn't showing up this morning, possibly because they haven't updated the game on their end. The filter does work, I've never had an issue with it.
Also, when someone CAN logon, check the dino gate. I may have left it open last night...

Trying to log on to server now. Not showing it at the moment.
still can't see server, but they've updated the client again so it may be a waiting game until the server is updated.
Possible missing server solution I saw on reddit. Not home, so I cannot try it out.
"On the Main Steam page (not the webpage...the one you use to play games with aka the launcher) on the top you will see "View" click on that and the click on "Servers". Then on the bottom you can select the game you want steam to look for (server wise). Then connect to your server of choice.
View->server->game (ark) and boom list of about 1871 servers."
Not sure if it will include servers that aren't running the latest patch, as I believe is the problem with our server. Game just updated to 176.0 and I think the server is still running 175.0. The in game server list does not show anything other than 176.0.

Assuming you're still on Alien's Land, then I've been on it multiple times today, up to the point a damn raptor took out my mule and camped my corpse.
