Like, we all know how it feels like Texas is getting overrun at an alarming rate. And I say overrun because when large swath of people come from another country, a different culture, and don't assimilate into our established culture, customs, and traditions, well, issues arise. At least when my parents came here in search of a better life, yes they wanted me to hang on to the customs they grew up with, but at the same time, they wanted to, and in turn, wanted me to grow up with American cultures and values instilled. Something as simple as turkey on thanksgiving, and burgers and hot dogs for Fourth of July. People may not it's a big deal, but it's the little things that grow, seeds if you will, that blossom and open the gates to understand why we do things, and falling in love with them in the process. I love America, what she stands for, and the resilience and courage her people show, such as the World Wars, 9/11, any instance of evil facing her people, America has always stood as a beacon of hope for her people. And I don't believe the people coming here know no care to know about that…

BINGO! Divide and conquer has never failed. It's disgusting what is happening in the O&G industry.

One of my good friends' kids just picked tu over A&M, Rice and a bunch of others. Super smart kid. Except for picking tu he's the kind of kid you want your daughter to date.

My friend and his wife are Indian and moved here about 20 years ago. Maybe 25. Their boys (18, 16) are the darkest people I've ever seen. I've been to the Congo and they are darker than anyone I saw there. When you speak to them, they sound just like my three blonde haired Texan daughters.

Both of those boys (and their parents) LOVE Jesus, love America, love Texas, and vote harder right than almost any native Texan I have met. They love all things America. They are ALL American citizens.

To say that based on how they look that all those kids in the stands are indicative of what's wrong is, well, wrong. Completely 100% wrong.

To be concerned about what is happening with the obvious H1B fraud and abuse and the complete lack of reason surrounding responsible immigration practices isn't wrong. Making the assumption that people oppose that out of racism is just as wrong as assuming that those kids aren't American simply by the color of their skin.

Sports is supposed to unite, not divide. If we're going to judge an entire student section at a football game it should be for that horrible, disgusting school those kids chose and not where their parents may or may not be from.

If we're gonna kick them out of the country, let's make it because they are freaking longhorns.

This subject reminds me of public-school integration in Beaumont in 1968. We started school in September and suddenly there were dozens of buses bringing black students on campuses all over town. Both black high schools had been shut down along with the only black junior high. There was unnecessary turmoil resulting from poorly managed integration amongst people who had lived with each other for nearly 150 years. Now we are having a poorly managed mass migration (legal and illegal) from ****hole countries and it is nothing like the cultural assimilation we took for granted in the last century. Thanks to Obama, Biden and feckless Republican politicians who don't even have the balls to pass the SAVE Act.

I've seen in many times and I've done it too, when you meet a non-white and ask where are they from. If they respond America, more times than not, there is follow-up question asking where their family is from. White people do that and non whites. Some anticipating the follow-up don't even answer America. It perpetuates the mentality that whites are the real Americans.

Being an American isn't a skin color, perhaps, it is an ideal, a way of life, but not a skin color.

If someone has a heavy accent or speaks poor English, you might ask where they are from at some point in a conversation out of curiosity. But that person could have skin color of white, brown, black, etc. It would be based on that curiosity. They could be of European decent and the whitest person one has ever met.
