I agree with Cornyn. Very stupid thing to post.
Cornyn is really showing who he truly is. There's nothing racist about posting something that's happening that should be questioned. He's doing what the left always does to shut down the conversation and or momentum. And he's doing it to a Republican. He worming his way to a CNN gig at this point.
So "something that's happening that should be questioned" is brown people enjoying a college football game? Good lord, white nationalism has become so normalized here.

I wasn't originally gonna post this, but cause it feels too racist to do so (and I'm one of the brownies, Mexican kind), but then I saw Cornyn opine, and wanted to get y'all's thoughts.
So, tu posted their hype vid after the win yesterday…THAT'LL DO IT 🤘#HookEm pic.twitter.com/srkIUJR7ZA

Like, we all know how it feels like Texas is getting overrun at an alarming rate. And I say overrun because when large swath of people come from another country, a different culture, and don't assimilate into our established culture, customs, and traditions, well, issues arise. At least when my parents came here in search of a better life, yes they wanted me to hang on to the customs they grew up with, but at the same time, they wanted to, and in turn, wanted me to grow up with American cultures and values instilled. Something as simple as turkey on thanksgiving, and burgers and hot dogs for Fourth of July. People may not it's a big deal, but it's the little things that grow, seeds if you will, that blossom and open the gates to understand why we do things, and falling in love with them in the process. I love America, what she stands for, and the resilience and courage her people show, such as the World Wars, 9/11, any instance of evil facing her people, America has always stood as a beacon of hope for her people. And I don't believe the people coming here know no care to know about that…
I'll get off my soapbox now… anyways, then I see Cornyn post this, and I'm just like, there's no way they thought this would go over well. This is the Republican nominee for statewide office. Are other Republican elected officials going to condemn the intolerance and racism, or look the other way while it becomes normalized. This is how great political parties self-destruct. Sad. https://t.co/TO1dTXKd6G

So what's y'all's thoughts? Also I'm posting this on my phone while waiting on my waffles from waffle house, so sorry if the links don't come through.
They're at an American football game enthusiastically cheering for their favorite team. I'd say they've assimilated rather well.

Have you ever worked in high tech? I do. Indians hire Indians. Heck, they even discriminate against each other in this country based on caste. I've seen it happen over and over again.
I've spent my entire career in high tech, and this is 100% true. The only thing you left out IMO is these Indian men treat women employees much worse than the male employees. It seemed like Indian women got treated the worst, but the non-Indian women also got treated like crap by most of the male Indians.

Dudes y'all have no idea how bad it is in Texas until you step out of the state. Ive been a die hard Texan my whole life but recently had to move to another state for work and we moved to an 80% white town. It is like stepping back in time. Everything is clean, nice, orderly, people are generally friendly, high trust family activities everywhere. It's incredible. We went to a local towns garage sale that had something like 100 participating houses and we heard Spanish one time.

This is about a GOP politician literally posting a picture of brown people and saying racist things. If he wanted to talk H1B fraud he could have said that directly, but instead he used a visual meant to apply to the hearts of the xenophobic MAGA (but I repeat myself) base.

Didn't matter what he said, you would spin it to be racist.

As usual with social media, most everyone misunderstands the intent of the French's post.
He's not blaming those kids. He's not saying they didn't earn their spot at UT. He's not even saying they aren't assimilating.
He used that photo to ILLUSTRATE a massive shift in demographics that will forever change our state. You simply can't import a particular people by the millions without downstream effects.
These kids aren't at fault. But they represent something much larger: Their presence is a sign that our leadership has failed us. They've imported vast numbers of a foreign culture -- many due to visa or credential fraud -- and allowed them to take jobs, compete for homes, fill our schools and change the culture and fabric of our local communities.
The politicians who scream "racism" know full well what they've done, or at least allowed to happen under their watch. Many are beholden to Indian body shops that make financial contributions. Democrats are enriched by the lifelong voters they are gaining.
In other words, they benefit from the flood and ain't changing a thing.
They attack Bo French because he is opening eyes and threatening to cut off the spigot.

False. Poor MAGA gets called out for blatant racism and then makes itself the victim, typical narcissistic behavior. "Doesn't matter what he said" -- perfect example of the know-nothingness of today's GOP.
What did he know about these students besides their skin color?

What did he know about those students besides the color of their skin? Did he know they are 1st or 2nd generation immigrants? What do they have to do to get to be seen as real-enough Americans to you?

it's hard not to see the recent bo-french-style surge in anti-Indian racism on twitter and elsewhere as being anything more than losers coping about being losers.
it's most pronounced among intelligent, but otherwise low-achieving and unremarkable people who have collectively manufactured a mythology in which their comparative lack of success is due to it being stolen by undeserving foreigners, when in reality they're often just getting outperformed.

Do you really think these kids will be hiring white, black or Hispanic employees in 10-15 years? Voting for white, black or Hispanic candidates for school board or county commissioner? Not practicing izzat, juggad or all that other cultural crap that makes dealing with them such a challenge on a daily basis?

Oh BS take broad statement- strip the detail and logic and present. Your statement is true only if you are reducing the scope to American citizens. Are you really playing this card in this situation

I answered the question that was asked of me.
Could you be clearer about why my answer is devious? I'd bet dollars to donuts that most of the kids in that picture are citizens.
