For you Christian nationalists, who say that America is only for Christians (which is dumb and evil)....did you know that there is a long-lived population of Indian Christians in India? That's why many have Christian names.

Now you know.

Jesus says that heaven is only for Christians. Is he dumb and evil too?

In India, Indian Christians face violence, intimidation, legal harassment, and social pressure. That's why there are so few. "Many have Christian names"?! LOL,no.

Now you know.

The local Hindus do not like this as it causes demography changes much like we are upset with Indians taking over Dallas, Austin and Houston and parts of Detroit.

Can you expound on this? Are there millions of whiteys flooding India and trying to convert them? Or even tens of thousands? How are a few missionaries trying to convert some Indians even remotely close to the scale of the rapind demographic changes happening here?

Are there entire towns in India being overrun by monster truck driving, rock n roll playing whites or large groups of whites erecting big crosses and voting at the local government level to cater primarily to them???

LOL funny to imagine. But genuinely curious as to what you mean.

I like it when the lines are very clear and stark. When people actually say what they think and they don't hide what they think. If you are a white nationalist running for office, that person should make sure to tell everyone.

What did he say that makes him a white nationalist? And the obvious implication is racist.

I have very conservative Hispanic friends who agree with his statement. One of their grandfathers is a famous (Democrat) Hispanic congressman from the valley. Are they white nationalists?

Again, if you haven't noticed the entire Democrat party is very openly anti-white. Can you at least admit that?

They sure do hate Christians.

Not to mention, many view any Anglo state (including America) to be of no real difference to the British Empire. Scratch an Indian immigrant and they will complain about how we deserve their mass immigration as retribution for the British Empire. Or that their salaries and citizenship obtained via fraud are just reparations they deserve.

It's interesting that other countries like Africa, India and Japan are never asking for more whites or diversity.

They'll never do that because they don't want multiculturalism. They don't want it because they know it doesn't work. There is not a more divided nation on the planet than America. It won't survive in its current form.

Only whites were dumb enough and suicidal enough to allow this garbage to happen. The only way this will end barring mass deportation or forced remigration, like it has happened in all of human history, is in an ocean of blood in a civil war or genocide.

Did the study say why it takes so long to assimilate? I can see it being A They don't want to assimilate or B) The current citizens don't want them to assimilate or C) Both.

It's a genuine question, so if easier to reference the study (rather than respond) happy to read it.

Nevemind. Just saw your more recent post. No further info needed from ya.

If you want to get technical, the old Hispanics with long roots in the US are nearly 100% Spaniard like Juan Seguin. The amount of Mayan, Aztec, or local native Hispanics who have deep American roots are effectively zero.

The reason the Tejanos sided with the Anglos is because they did not consider themselves Mexican at all.

Now, we have indios from Oxaca claiming to be 500 year residents of the RGV.

Even slight differences in ethnicity cause problems. Just look at the Balkans for an example of how this can continue for a long period of time.

The Irish and Italians had slightly different cultures than Anglos. It was never a smooth transition and created a lot of problems. The Germans never fully integrated until WWI are another example and they effectively share a very similar ancestry to Anglos.

It takes a long long time and many generations for integration to happen. The fact that we have newcomers, who are 1st or 2nd generation trying to deny this is what is the problem.

Exactly. People have this idea that the Mexicans living here looked like their landscaper. They did not, they looked like what you see on the Spain World Cup team. Mexico had just won its independence from Spain. These people never really considered themselves Mexicans like what we think of nowadays.

A picture of 10 kids of various races celebrating at a football game would be a clear sign of assimilation.

Look behind them. It's a load of white kids. But the 10 kids up front have everyone's attention.

They already came to the football game, but I guess they have to sprinkle in a few white people to avoid suspicion? Is that a rule for everyone or how does this work?

Load of white kids behind them. LOL.

It's mass entertainment. I'd go to a large cricket match if I were in India. I'd go to a bull fighting match in Spain! I'd go to a large soccer match in England! To claim that as proof of assimilation is shallow, and I'm being very nice with my words.

So what? The odds are that some of those kids are fully assimilated, post 1st generation Americans. That's the point. Indian people can have Indian friends. It just bothers some people to see them at all.

Are they really assimilated if their names are Dhairya Gupta and Rahul Kodali? No.

Do they believe in the One True God? We don't know, but it is statistically unlikely.

Is throwing milk really common at football games or is that something that is common in at Indian cricket matches?

Odds are those kids aren't assimilated. Don't even blame them for it. It's unnatural.

I'm puzzled why so many people embrace the caricature that is associated with A&M. Is it a coping mechanism to disarm it by embracing it?

Would you like to participate in the conversation, or are you just here to lob bombs from the peanut gallery?

I've participated, but I don't have a response to the argument that claims a person's name impacts whether they are American or not. I guess you win this one?

Only 4% of UT Austin undergraduates are international, which is a proxy for those on visa… I would have assumed it was 96% with all the concern.

Those Indian kids should be considered international but aren't. They would be classified as in-state students.

Which makes it worse, btw.

Every single immigration act prior to this supported this concept.

AI:

They measure two completely different things:

Statistic What it measures
4.3% international undergraduates Citizenship/immigration statusprimarily students in the U.S. temporarily on F-1, J-1, H-4, L-2 or similar status
Asian, Hispanic, Black, white, etc. Race or ethnicitynot citizenship or immigration status
Texas resident Residency classification for admission/tuition, which is yet another category

For example, UT's fall 2024 freshman class was approximately:

* 28.4% Hispanic
* 26.3% Asian
* 27.9% white
* 5.5% Black
* Other/multiracial categories making up the remainder

But only about 4.3% of UT undergraduates are international. Thus, a student might be:

* Asian, U.S.-born, a U.S. citizen and a lifelong Texan
* Hispanic, a naturalized citizen and Texas resident
* Asian, a green-card holder and Texas resident
* Asian and an international student on an F-1 visa
* White and an international student from Europe
* Hispanic and an international student from Latin America

One statistical wrinkle: in federal university reporting, temporary-visa students are generally placed in the "international/nonresident" category instead of also being counted under Asian, Hispanic or white. So the categories shown in a standard UT demographic table are often mutually exclusive, even though international students obviously also possess racial and ethnic identities.

The practical takeaway: UT's roughly 2026% Asian representation does not mean that percentage came from Asia or is on visas. Most Asian undergraduates at UT are Americansmany Texas-born or raised. The visa/international population is only about one student in 23, while Asian Americans are roughly one student in four in recent freshman classes. UT freshman demographic data, reporting on UT's international share

So is everyone simply against non-whites, or is everyone against visa kids?

And I have a problem with the entire demographic shift of our country, which has played itself out in our universities as evidenced by the picture in the OP.

Foreign scientists who came to American saved potentially millions of lives in WWII, countless American soldiers lived because they came to the US.

That's just one example. One that you might be able to relate to (i.e. someone who used technology to kill).

But there are a million of other feel-good examples. Where foreigners came to study and work in the US, in US universities and made things much better for everyone in America.

BUT.....if you really feel strongly about it. Why not make one large research school the first example. Maybe one that is in B/CS. Ban all international students and faculty. And then see what happens to the university. Then everyone else can see what happens when you do this.
