Went over there to check it out - yeah a lot of negativity about her.

But her name is not (apparently) banned it is all over the page on certain threads. What they did was ban anyone from posting or commenting about her unless they had a certain level of Karma points and posts which is a way to limit the spammers mostly.

Not saying I agree with it but it isn't a universal ban. Many pages over there only allow you to post after certain age of the account or posts or karma (which is like blue stars). Especially on hot topics.

When you consider that reddit has a lot of trans mods or people hypersensitive about trans causes, then their policies make more sense.

Reddit has a bunch of sickos on there too and some of the sickos become mods. They had a "Jailbait" thread with sexualized pics of underage girls for years until they finally took it down.

I'm not searching for it, but I'm sure there is a thread for every type of weirdo perversion there is, Furries, trans. All the letters people have a forum.

I was kicked off and banned from some feminist type thread. A poster put up a picture of her grossly morbidly obese friend in a purple robe and was talking about how pretty/healthy she was. One of those HAES healthy at every size type threads. I posted a picture of Grimace from McDonalds. I guess the feminist mods didn't like that.

There have been revelations that some higher ups at reddit, actual paid employees who were also mods of several subs, are trans. One was famously linked to an English politician who was busted for child pornography.

Anytime you dig deep into what is going on with moderation in that site, it gets really ****ing disgusting.

Subreddits are run by the students that objected to Professor Derrick Jansen pointing out the obvious (though they were the minority even in this sociology class judging by the applause).
