When refs are now flopping to draw a foul against their most famous player in history to get them benched for the rest of the game (and suspended for the next), you know this league is absolutely doomed.

Watching it go down like the Hindenburg (but from maybe 30 feet in the air, since it wasnt really that successful to begin with), might draw them greater ratings than their "product" ever would.

Yuli Gurriel received a well-deserved 5 game suspension for a racial gesture toward Yu Darvish, in addition to the humiliation of doing such an immature thing. This sort of racially motivated tweeting during a game should be absolutely hammered by the league. The owners have been raking in paper gains recently in franchise valuations, and this sort of behavior will cost them a lot of money. The NBA isn't a black league, or even an American league. It's a basketball league. The WNBA better learn this lesson fast.

People who are getting paid for their opinions deserve much more scrutiny. Travis is upset en a super brilliant Vandy guy. And he voted for Obama twice? What part of all the racism was his favorite?

But she keeps the other teams from roughing up Clark too much, which seems to be working well this year.

Can you provide an example of Cunningham giving a "hard foul" to an opposing player that is comparable to the clothesline takedown she received a couple of days ago? I am sure there are numerous examples. If Sophie is playing at that level as well I will reverse my opinion.
