They don't want to be taken seriously because they don't know how to act when they are. The league is a joke. Care more about social crap than actual basketball.

It's because their basketball sucks. They know these controversies and their use of social media are the way to drive fans to games and eyeballs to the TV watching games. Because it's never going to be for the actual basketball. You can watch the local HS boys team and know they'd kick the ass of the wnba champs, whoever the hell that is.
