If you're a gay woman why do you want your partner to look like a man? Seems like that kinda defeats the purpose, although the "under the hood" part would obviously be different.

All of this is confusing to some old people like myself.

Every liberal belief system and opinion is hypocritical by its nature.

As is often said - if liberals did not have double standards they would have no standards at all.

It doesn't have to make sense to them or anyone. It only has to feel right. And if you do not feel the same way you are a bigot. which is itself the ultimate irony - because the definition of a bigot is someone who is stubbornly intolerant of any group, lifestyle, belief, or opinion that is different from their own.

Don't forget to get that free agent (?) Greiner on the team!

And all members of the team must have proven blood tests of being male at birth.

This will be amazing!

I actually agree with Walsh. Clark is a coward as she has the opportunity to stand up for women and punts. Typical lib.

What is the stand? I didn't hear what the question was because the video starts at her answer...seems like a hypothetical about a situation that is not going to happen.

She is a coward because she chose not to answer a hypothetical question about something that will not happen?

It's not the first time she has went into coward mode

It is a pointless hypothetical. Transgenders can't play college basketball right now. There will not be any transgenders in the WNBA.

This is just to stir up controversy and she was smart to avoid it given her standing in the league, IMO.

Right now. But while at Baylor, Britney Greiner went unquestioned bc "muh championships!"

Where are you getting that?

Her Wikipedia page says that she played in tournaments with the international team in 2011 and made it down to the final roster cuts for the 2012 Olympics. She was the only college player working out with the team and ultimately withdrew to focus on college and a family illness. I don't see any articles that point toward her being unable to play.

Page 1, post 1.

She's not making general social commentary, it's about who she dribbles with and against. Sophie's original statement was speaking about her profession and the pipeline for the league in which she plays.

It should be illuminating that the ESPN reporter does not include in the article the prompting questions that were used to elicit Sophie's responses in that profile piece. ESPN wanted to frame this profile as just topics that Sophie wanted to talk about. That's not how medial profile pieces are written. There are a specific list of topics and questions that the interviewer brings. They don't just put a recorder on the table and say, "talk."

I don't recall seeing this. Are you sure?

Yes, I'm sure.

When Griner was a freshman at Nimitz HS, she tried out for the freshman team, and was quickly moved up to varsity. Before the promotion, an email went out to athletic directors at all of the other district high schools about Griner. The email explained she is a hermaphrodite, and her parents had raised her as a girl. If any ADs in the district were uncomfortable with her playing against their team, she would not be allowed to play at all. All of the ADs were okay with it, because this was twenty years ago, and who really cares about women's high school basketball, right? So Griner was allowed to play.

Griner took female hormones up until high school, when she stopped. Because the treatments stopped, she started developing male secondary sex characteristics like a deep voice and lean musculature. Those secondary sex characteristics caused people to think Griner is trans, but she's not. She's a hermaphrodite.

This didn't make the media because in 2006, identity politics wasn't the be-all end-all of everything, and people believed student information should be kept private.

If that were the case, I would think there would be some sort of public information about it, whether it be from the school district, the NCAA, the Olympic committee, or the WNBA.

I doubt there has been a 20-year coverup to allow Griner to play basketball against women as an intersex or trans person.

You literally have owners of WNBA teams lashing out at young fans for wanting only women to play in their sports. And you have NUMEROUS WNBA coaches talking about how they need to be inclusive and let males play in their sport.

It's a very real issue because numerous other sports have catered to mentally ill crossdressing males, who ended up dominating the competition and even destroying the dreams of numerous females who worked their whole lives to get where they were.

So when people talk about this very real phenomenon, that has entered so many other female sports, entering theirs...it's not at all like Lebron talking about trans kids or The West Bank. It's a genuine possible hypothetical that Sophie Cunningham was addressing.

Also, how do you know it would never happen when your political brethren have allowed it to happen in so many other female sports?

The fact that we are even having wacked out conversations like this to begin with just exposes the downright psychotic nature of the modern left. Complete lunatics. Depraved lunatics.

No civilized society should ever be having such insanely stupid conversations. Yet the brightest democrat minds in the world cannot tell you what a woman is. And think crazy cross dressing men who suck at male sports should be able to cdominate females at their sports and shower with them afterwards. Talarico supports this fervently, as does every single sitting US senator with a D next to their names.

Don't try to shame people for responding to the left winged lunacy.

OK, here you go. But I still think a player of a sport discussing possible (even if unlikely) hypotheticals related to that sport is far different than Lamar Jackson giving his take on "fracking". Sophie discussing BSC men in her sport simply isn't a "shut up and dribble" case, no matter how badly you want it to be (for some strange reason).

My political brethren? What are you talking about? Lmao I have nothing in common with people who want to see transgenders in women's sports.

I am not saying CC needs to shut up and dribble, but it is perfectly fine for her to decline to comment on this A) because of the way she is abused in this league and B) because this likely will never happen C) if it were to happen, CC's opinion clearly holds little weight in this league because of the way she is treated.

The girl takes enough abuse as is, I don't think people need to be ripping on her for declining to answer that question.

Transgenders cannot play in the NCAA.

Is there a euro trans making a push to join the league?

This definitely is all hypothetical and it seems in the last few years, sane minds have prevailed and transgenders are not allowed to play sports with women in a vast majority of cases.

This person plays in a tier two league in France.

This person was also contacted by Clay Travis's website as a part of his whole deal to start a transgender only team.

In short, this is completely unserious.

Alright, well just don't act like we, or Sophie Cunningham, or her supporters are crazy for discussing the issue, when deranged men have invaded so many other female sports we thought they would never invade...they even let one clinically insane man enter the octogon with a female and completely crush her face.

Yeah, this was insane and I cannot believe anyone sanctioned this fight.

I still think culturally, we have moved past this, the vast majority of Americans are entirely opposed to this and I do not think professional leagues would allow this post-woke, I could be wrong. I think we would both hope I am not.

The transgender in the WNBA conversation is purely a hypothetical that will not happen.

the conversations do not appear to be hypothetical and the later portion is nothing more than a guess. i probably agree with it, but it's not a certainty.

Show me the transgender athlete vying to play in the WNBA right now.

The reason trans cant play in the NCAA right now is because of pushback against the mentally ill enablers.

They have competed against woman in other NCAA sports in the recent past. The progressives will keep pushing to allow it
