Looking back on what was learned, loved and loathed in Texas A&M’s 48-20 college football victory over Arizona State on Saturday at Kyle Field:

• A&M had a bipolar performance: The Aggies scored 48 points, won by 28, covered a 14.5-point spread and still were wildly inconsistent. Take quarterback Marcel Reed, for example. He threw three touchdown passes, but completed just 60 percent of his attempts for a mere 163 yards.
