So even when they lie about healthcare for illegals they stick to their election lie about the Haitians dietary preferences.
$2.1 billion in Chicago infrastructure projects--specifically the Red Line Extension and the Red and Purple Modernization Project--have been put on hold to ensure funding is not flowing via race-based contracting. More info to come soon from @USDOT.

Off topic and not related to the current Dem demands. This is a program funded entirely by NY State. If you don't want to fund it, don't live in NY. It's actually illegal to use federal funds for this as of 1996.

Quote:
Inside the White House, aides are discussing proposals to extend the enhanced subsidies for Affordable Care Act health-insurance plans, the officials said. Trump hasn't yet decided whether he will endorse such a proposal, according to the officials. Republicans say they will only hold negotiations with Democrats on the matter after the government is reopened.
Ending the subsidies would result in higher premiums for more than 20 million people. Of the 75 congressional districts where at least 10% of the population is enrolled in the Affordable Care Act, 62 are in red-leaning Florida, Georgia and Texas, according to Kaiser Family Foundation, a healthcare-policy think tank. More than half of the 62 districts in those states are represented by Republicans.

Is money fungible or not? It is true with Planned Parenthood, Ukraine funding, Corporation for Public Broadcasting, unions, and stealing from taxpayers and giving the money to illegals.

MSNBC (MSNBC!) writes:

"Democrats don’t have a clear idea of what success in this standoff might look like..."
and predicts the shutdown may end "with Democrats caving on a continuing resolution without immediate concessions."
