Pretty sure they are one in the same. Since the House is gone any different Senate version couldn't be re-voted on in time by the House. Senate version = House version.

My wife and I were sitting in the senate chambers watching it all go down and just left about 20 minutes ago. Pretty wild to witness in person! Australian lady was sitting next to me asking a ton of questions and she was bewildered when I told her democrats wanted to fund healthcare for illegals.

I've been in DC since Monday. Rode up on the same plane with Cruz from Houston and shook his hand waiting to board the plane. Saw Shifty Schiff in DCA and he's just as squirmy in real life as TV. Could have reached over and touched Pam Bondi last night at the dinner table next to me, but her security detail sitting nearby was a strong deterrent. No kidding on that one... just a normal restaurant in DC, nothing special. I suppose everybody has to eat.

Met some laid off federal employees on the plane who went to the A&M/Auburn game due to family connections. They weren't so impressed with President Trump and DOGE, to put it mildly.... but the wife was wearing A&M gear due to her daughter there, while hubby wasn't because he graduated from Auburn.

Small world, really.

Their base will be unhappy if they allow a shutdown and their ilk get fired…

Plus latest polling say Americans are siding with the Rs on moving forward with the R plan…
