The Pykes were the ones running the spice on the train, yeah?

My take is the biker gang technically did it, but at the behest of the Pikes. Especially since they are the syndicate referenced as being promised Jabbas holdings.
Plus their masks look evil and kinda cool
This is what I was getting at, earlier. The Pikes tell Boba they already gave protection money to the biker gang, so he'll have to get it from them. Lo and behold, while he's gone the biker gang kills the Tusken camp. Not a coincidence.

The chase scene was terrible. It appeared to be happening at 10 mph. And every stale car crash cliche was throw in there with tons of really silly Easter eggs. Just awful all around.
I will defend the show, as I think it's still too early and I am enjoying most of it.

The chase scene, however, was just bad. HOWEVER........I was cracking up at all the "chase cliches" being thrown in: numerous fruit carts ran into, pedestrians running for cover, but the ultimate was the two people carrying a freakin' portrait of Jabba that the speeder ran through. I legitimately laughed out loud at the insanity of that.

It reminded me so much of the Hollywood backlot chase scene in "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" in it's absurdity.

And no, this was not "Star Wars." But it still cracked me up at times.

There was a chase scene? Watched last night and I honestly don't recall one.

it was less a chase and more of a dawdle.

Good god this show is a disgrace so far. That chase scene was comedy. Pathetic.

Also, "they're going to war." What?? Over what??? Nothing has even ****ing happened. What could there possibly be to have a war over at this point in the show?

Nothing in this show is developed. Nothing is compelling. Nothing makes you care. Just horrendous.

Your other criticisms are valid, but I think it's clear that the Mayor and Pykes are going to war over Boba Fett (and the Tuskens) disrupting their route and demanding protection payment. And the Mayor seems to be trying to push out the crime underlord.

...I'll be honest - as I was typing that out, I started to realize that they really aren't doing a good job explaining what's happening. The Pykes' beef with Boba is more clear from the flashback scenes, but we have no idea how far in the past those are. And we have been given no idea why the Mayor is going against Boba.

Man, I thought this show was going to a good spot after episode 2, but episode 3 was a complete clunker.

Thinking about this, Boba Fett was presumed dead when he was eaten by the Sarlacc. Him showing up to the Pykes as some random dude from a Tusken tribe wouldn't clue anyone into the fact that he's Boba Fett. Up until now, they are solely relying on the audience understanding that he's Boba Fett, because there's absolutely zero reason shown so far that the Pykes would want to overthrow Boba Fett.

The Pykes want the territory that Jabba vacated, it's that simple

I feel like everyone in Mos Espa knows who Boba is. He was hanging around Jabba's palace after Empire. (Never understood why)

Gonna need Leo to hand pick a Star Wars script and star in it.

(before people get to crazy, it's a satire account...though I still choose to believe it's real)

If this season ends with him riding a rancor it will either be hilariously awesome or hilariously bad.

I am thinking it will be the latter.

It will end with the rancor eating him, then it will cut to Boba in its belly. He turns to the camera and says, "Oh brother..." and gives a big shrug. Freeze frame. Roll credits over a blooper reel.

The alien frog eating alien bird eating alien bug establishing shot outside Jabba's palace. Just the right amount of throwback and cheese but genuinely funny (and really nicely animated).

I get what you are saying, but given the age that every one of us started watching Star Wars and what giant mouse makes this show, this is a funny statement.

The Geriatric Biker Gang works for Fett, but with toy Power Ranger Vespas they bought on clearance from Wal Mart.

This show has been pretty bad the first 3 episodes. Fett comes across as a moron "crime boss". We have no idea why he wants to be a crime boss.

I busted out laughing at how bad the Wookie was as an assassin. And the Power Rangers poked him with some mall cop stun guns and butter knives lol what is this. Those metal knuckles should have rearranged Fett's face but I guess they're made of tin foil.

The flashbacks have been the only part of this show that felt somewhat compelling to me. Fett seemed to fit in easier with people he didn't have to speak with verbally all the time.

Agree with pretty much everything that's been said about episode 3 so far.

I have to admit that when watching the scene with Boba petting the sleeping rancor, a part of me wanted it to suddenly wake up and devour him like Sam Jackson in Deep Blue Sea. Then Trejo recovers the armor and takes on the identity of Boba Fett. I would 100% watch that.

Reminded me of the cash cliche scene on Waynes World 2. Only thing missing was the box of chickens.

The Book of Boba Fett definitely should have been a musical.

An opening number about being trapped in the Sarlaac that become a duet when he realizes the Sarlaac is sentient and starts singing like Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors.

A reprise of Moana's "How Far I'll Go" as Boba walks across the desert to the Tusken camp

Elton John's "Rocketman' during the AOTC flashbacks on Kamino as Jango flies away

Travis Tritt's "Ten Feet Tall and Bulletproof" for Black Gangta Wookiee

Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls" for when the two Hutts show up
