Wouldn't the magnets stick to the bombers as soon as they were released?
Why not launch the bombs from the planet and not risk the bomber crews' lives?
Why not make your own movie that is 100% perfect for you?

That covers most of my complaints.bangobango said:
I wasn't going to post this, but since somebody bumped the thread.
Another video on why this movie pissed a lot of us off. It's only five minutes and does a better job explaining my frustration with the movie than my own words.
Why not use B-Wings, which are faster and equipped with missiles and ion cannons? Oh, wait, that's right. Rian had to introduce Rose's sister and have her sacrifice herself to serve the Rose/Finn subplot. Pffft.JuliusCaesarAggie said:

I guess the canon answer is "because a StarFortress has > 1000 bombs by itself," but the real answer, in addition to Paige/Rose, is that Star Wars military battles have always had a World War homage to them, and the bombers kept with the theme. Personally that's why I liked the bomber run.G Martin 87 said:

Yeah, there are certainly some legitimate complaints to be had over the course of nine movies (JarJar, sand, ewoks, Finn, Rose, force Leia, nothing burger characters, etc) but I really don't get the level of "George Lucas and now Rian Johnson, destroyed my childhood" and I really just glaze over whenever I read the "OMG you can't do that in space, this is stupid" commentary.CJS4715 said:
I am SW obsessed (or so I thought), but I can't imagine caring so much about some of this stuff.

And with a production budget of $200M that is an immense, yuge, profit margin. Yuge.
It's a literal money printer for Disney. All they have to do is keep these movies palatable and they'll just keep printing that money. Very few industries can produce this kind of nearly guaranteed financial results.
Fanboy: Yeah, yeah, this movie was terribly flawed. I can't believe you allowed Luke to go out this way. I am so......
Disney Exec: <lights cigar with a burning Benjamin> BWAAAHAHAHA......security, remove this crybaby.....BWAAHAHAHAHA

anyways, back to the Knights of Ren....
Will we ever see what Rey's vision was about?
it's probably not the future after TLJ because in her vision, Kylo had his helmet.
It's probably not the night Kylo destroyed the jedi temple, unless he fought Luke, brought the house down on him. Went in for a wardrobe change, then got his buddies together to start the chaos.
Which leaves the vision to be some time after Kylo destroys the Jedi academy but before TFA.... or they may just ignore it completely. which would suck.

Yes, the highly politically motivated categories like score and sound editing.cbr said:
