So I haven't watched a lick of this season. So far, I have no regrets, but curious if you guys are finding this season compelling.
Technically, everything after the Governor has been kind of a repeated story line....which is why I'd like to see the show start to come to a resolution. Then focus on a new series and storyline with all new characters. Kind of like Fear TWD except without sucking.Quote:
feel like they are setting it up for an all out brawl with the hill, kingdom and Alexandria teaming up to get Neegan. After that what can happen, let me guess more zombie attacks and another bad guy.

Dude, Jesus flying through the air kung-fuing walkers was about the funniest thing I've ever seen. That was so comically bad there aren't enough "l" and "o" strokes left in the life of my keyboard to adequately react to it.

In my opinion, this week's episode was one of the worst of the entire series.
Lazy, nonchalant, non-moving, unimportant, and aimless.

I was just reminded of my biggest LOL moment from last night's episode. Coral throwing darts and missing the board every time. I mean really what a lame ass way of showing us how poor Coral is having to adapt to being one-eyed. Cheap sitcom depth perception gag not based at all in reality. I'm pretty sure I can close one eye and still hit a dart board.
Come to think of it maybe that's why he had to wreck the car to kill one walker. He couldn't trust his aim to stab it in the head.

Something I've been wondering - other than the lord & savior of the Christian faith, has ANYONE ever heard of a person actually named "Jesus"? I mean, where you actually pronounce it like the son of God (not 'Hay-Zeus' like my yard guy). I've honestly never heard that name pronounced 'Gee-zuz' in any other context than Sunday school.
Generally these things are negotiated for the season, though how much work they will have to do enters into that.91_Aggie said:
How are actors paid for a series like this? Is it per episode they appear in? Or is it just a negotiated amount for the entire season? Seems like only 1/4 to 1/3 of the cast appears in each episode. Carol and Morgan have only been in one episode. Daryl in 3 but barely.
12 episodes from now, we'll get a scene of Coral hitting the bullseye over and over. And they'll flashback to him hitting the wall, so we can remember how bad he was. Maybe they'll even mix it into a Rocky-type montage.TAMU_91 said:

Can he not cobble together a semi-legitimate eye patch? I don't want to see 12 more seasons of him walking around with guaze and an ace bandage wrapped around his head.
Foreshadowing. Now we know how Negan dies. Death by a dozen darts, volleyed by Coral all quick-like, just like that elf archer on Lord of the Rings.Vito said:12 episodes from now, we'll get a scene of Coral hitting the bullseye over and over. He'll need help when it comes time. As we've seen, his aim ain't so good.Orlando Ayala Cant Read said:

Carl loses his virginity this year. The foreshadowing is there.

Ratings fall? Yes.
Still the #1 scripted show on cable? Yes, by a huge margin.
