Seemed to me that they just showed 'Sneaky Boots' jumping down from the tree, not inside Alexandria.
I liked how they set up the 2nd hal of the season.
I just hope they give us a plausible way they can defeat the Saviors. Even with the 3 communities (4 if you include 'Females in the Mist'). They make the Saviors seem still that much bigger. They have as many supplies as they want; almost all the guns and ammo around.
I just hope there's more than just a well timed attack and a generic "we work together" vs "they aren't really together" vibe. There needs to be multiple layers to the war.
I want to see Jesus, Daryl, Michonne, Sasha, and Carol in full badass mode. I want to see Maggie mentally kick but. I want to see Morgan, Rosita, Aaron, F. Gabriel step up their skills. And I want to see Rick and Eugene finally out maneuver the Saviors.

Negan probably has a few of his people he can count on to protect him, but outside of maybe a dozen loyal members, how many are really with him? I think most are probably like the guy that Darryl killed when he escaped. They're only kept there by fear.AstroAg17 said:

Trying to kill Negan is probably the worst crime someone could commit, to him at least, and he has now let two people do it without significant consequence. The guy isn't exactly big on personal safety to begin with.

Seems to me he likes to try and tame people with the nerve to do something like that by taking out his anger for their transgressions on someone innocent. He's already shown he has an affinity for people with nerve to get things done on their own and a distaste for people who want others to do it for them like Spencer. I think it's entirely in keeping with what he's done previously.

I also am not sure what happened/what I was supposed to take from the scene where the guy from the Kingdom (don't remember his name) went into the small trailer in the woods. Was that where he'd been hiding out with his family who got killed before he found the Kingdom? Was there something significant about the bottle he was looking at and smashed?
What was the deal with the figurine that Daryl was staring at in the room he hid and ate the peanut butter in?

Same question with all of these. Knowing TWD they are some obscure little things that will not be referenced again until we're supposed to remember them 5 episodes from now.

I think the chick wanted Michone to kill her as it would be better than the punishment from Negan or having to continue as Negan's slave. I think she though that Negan would do something to her for her failure to complete whatever mission she was on and getting caught.
Was the chess board piece a reference to something in the past, a previous character, and that it was now in the Saviors possession pissed off Daryl.

Wasn't Daryl hiding out in Dwight's quarters? Am I remembering right that Dwight was carving the figurines during his sandwich montage? If so, it would make sense that Daryl would give a huge FU to Dwight on the way out.
The good guys will overcome the numbers by mutiny, peasant uprising or sabotage from within (Eugene / Dwight) or a combination of all three.

The only problem with that is then they would have gone back to Alexandria empty handed where Negan was already pissed about Spencer and Rosita. He said something about the stuff that Rick and Aaron brought not being enough for the hole they're in now so it would have been worse if they didn't bring anything back for Negan
Neegan definitely likes to kill people and have people owe him. He was able to make both happen AND take Eugene who can start manufacturing ammo for him.
This kind of reminds me of the discussion on the Survivor thread about hotness. How do the walkers all still have clothes if they were attacked and eaten? Do the attacking walkers put their victim's clothes back on after they have eaten a few bites?

I thought she was running away from the Saviors. No firm basis for that, just from Michonne's question about "what are you doing out here alone?" and a vague (maybe incorrect) recollection of someone saying something to the effect that Dwight was the only person Negan sent out alone.Quote:

My assumption was that she was a runner too. Another chance to emphasize dissention in the Saviors ranks.
