The problem with this is that if you aren't actually accepted to part of his cadre at the main base, you have to spend double your time scavenging for resources... for yourself and for Negan.JABQ04 said:bonfarr said:DTP02 said:
So Rick's entire contribution to the battle was to give a whole bunch of guns to the trash people to broker an alliance which the trash people promptly broke. During the battle, when Sasha distracted everyone, all of Rick's people took the opportunity to attack their captors, while Rick remained held helplessly at gunpoint by the trash queen, until she shot him. Carl, of all people, took out two of his captors when Sasha broke out.
And later, when Negan was about to kill Carl, Rick doesn't even say a word to Carl. Judith gets passed around like a white elephant gift.
Crappy leader. Crappy dad. Rick, what would you say that you do here, exactly?
All Rick is good for now is talk, anyone that follows him is as big if a loser as he is. I would rather get behind Maggie or Carol. Daryl hasn't done jack **** in forever as well.
I think at this point I'd be team Negan. He really has **** together. To be fair, they're given a chance to comply and work for/with Negan and the Saviors. Unfortunately someone decides to resist and ends Luciled. Eugene got a good bargain.
And if you are part of Negan, there are a ton of rules you have to follow and you could be in violation of them based on the capriciousness of Negan and thrown into a fire (or have someone make a false accusation against you).
Not sure why the Sanctuary, the Kingdom and Alexandria just don't pack up and move outside the range of Negan... that's what I would do if I were in that position. Why fight? Negan's group is relying on the slavery of those three groups.
You essentially put him out business by moving 200-300 miles in some other direction.
