He drew a really short straw last season being relegated to the middle reliever role most of the time, despite pitching pretty damn good more often than not. I hope he makes the rotation this season and doesn't get stuck cleaning up others' messes.
I want him in the rotation if they pitch like they did in 2015.
If this rotation turns out to be another relapse of 2016 I want Devo in the same role he had last year.
I'm convinced that if it wasn't for him we would've been 6 games under .500 instead of 6 over.

I agree. Devenski was huge out of the pen. The deeper stats back it up on Fangraphs too. As a matter of fact, he's the leader on a few of their leverage neutral stats.Ag_07 said:

I'm gettin good vibes from following Keuchel and McCullers instagrams that they are feeling good about how they'll perform rolling into the season. Although, it should be noted most pitchers almost always feel that way.
And that Dallas went all of last ST without giving up a run and was looking flawless going into the season.
