A lot of our young guys with swing mechanics and pitch recognition issues (Jake, White, Reed, Singleton, etc) don't seem to have made any tweaks.

I feel like Jake just is what he is. He's a great defensive player with premiere speed.

I agree. He's a plus 5th outfielder.
We are three games into spring training, where most guys don't even have 5 at bats yet. Let's hold off on casting judgement for at least a little while....
