I think this is relevant. We don't have a whole lot in the pipeline either (Cionel Perez seems to be the highest rated and he's at least 2-3 years away from the bigs). Would be nice to have a good situational lefty to help neutralize some of the LH power hitters in the west.Ag_07 said:

Devenski is good at getting lefties out also with that nasty change.

How can Neshek and Gregerson do so bad (or so average) with the Astros and still get picked to be on Team USA to close out the 8th and 9th?

Trout isn't playing in the WBC. He's the best player in the world. Don't overthink it.
The Astros bullpen was also not as bad as most think it was. Actually one of the best.

So now we know Altuve is a better 2nd baseman and a better 3rd baseman than Odor.

It is a split squad with no Beltan, Correa, Altuve, Bregman, or Aoki, who are all in the WBC. Reddick and Gattis are playing against the Red Sox, too.

No.
Watching the WBC and the Correa/Beltran combo in the middle our lineup is going to be sick.
Sucks that Bregman finally got to play, goes 2-for-3 with a walk, and is back on the bench tonight.
