Colombian player just sitting there like, this is where I was hurt.
My demon woke up this morning telling me he was tired. I handed him a red bull and said "come on little buddy, we've got chaos to spread".

The lack of a deep goalkeeper pool is wild to me. Over the last 4-5 cycles we've had Friedel, Keller, Howard, even Meola before that, it's the one position we've been near world-class. And now it's like...we have some guys.

Several players from the last cycle or two have ended up being generally average. Brady is young and really promising, I hope we start calling up him and some of the other younger guys and start rebuilding what used to be the strength of our team.

Personally I think we spent a decade plus putting too much emphasis on the keepers ability to play with the ball at their feet. Shot stopping and command of the box should be paramount

So how do we have a keeper that can't play the ball with his feet. If you look at the best nation squads, they all have a keeper that is very skilled with their feet to help the teams build out from the back and stretch out the defense.

in his defense, he only really had 1 bad game....but he didn't get tested much in the others. his 1 bad game was the worst thing I've ever seen though...

...but Baker got to play the second half in the Senegal match right before the tournament and he left A LOT to be desired and Matt Turner has had too many howlers and not enough minutes in the last 2 years.... so Freese was it. and that sucks.

Freese honestly isn't even the best goalkeeper in MLS.

I think Colombia has a better chance of giving Argentina a match, so I favor the Fightin' Cocaine Hippos.

Keeper will never get called for it but that type of play should fall under endangering an opponent

Colombia is finisher away from being top tier. Imagine if Quinones had stuck with his country rather than switching to el trash.

This game has sucked.

I guess if they actually carded for simulation there would be a few players out.

I don't know what you're talking about. This has been a highly violent game. Several players have died.

If it goes two minutes without one flopping around like a dead fish, I'm shocked.

Thirty minutes away from these two sides paying respect to the last North American World Cup by emulating the 0-0 draw in the 1994 final.
