It's incredibly obvious calls and promises were made. This is par for the course with FIFA. I'm just glad we're benefiting for once.

not quite it has to be an official competitive match. The wording of what they released implies barring another red in the next year no suspension. At worst he misses a nations league or gold cup match.

Lol the internet is melting down over this. Again, FIFA does whatever it wants. They "suspended" Ronaldo's 3 match ban prior to the World Cup so he could play. They've done this before. They'll continue to do it as long as it benefits them.

This isn't some 1 off thing because of Trump or American politics. Its FIFA doing FIFA **** as always

So…. If we get past Belgium, our next match is either Spain/Portugal, followed by likely France. Uncle Gianni, how much would some "unbiased" *wink* decisions cost us for those? Asking for a friend…

PS - I'm really enjoying the meltdown from the UK accounts that I follow for EPL news. They've taken a break from complaining about how unfair it is to face Mexico in Mexico City to complain about this. lol.

Glad we have him back, but this should have been taken care of Thursday. Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather have him made available on late notice vs not at all, but to the extent his availability adjusts our strategy, it is a bit squirrelly getting the news the day before
