Mexican fans yell a naughty word at the opposing GK as he takes a goal kick. They used to pretend it was t worst offense ever wand threatened to suspend matches if fans kept doing it. Now they're pretending it isn't happening so it doesn't draw too much attention. They know the fans won't stop doing it.

You can still bend your knee and not go into the other player straight leg. If he bends his knee and still hits with cleats, it's not "with force" so it could have been downgraded to a yellow.

Mexican fans yell, "Ehhhhhhh PUTO!" when they opposing keeper takes a goal kick.

They have been fined and even forced to play qualifiers in an empty stadium given the "homophobic" connotations.

In theory the ref could announce warnings during the game and even forfeit the match if the chant continues.

But since neither the ref nor Infantino fancy being torn to pieces by the fans at midfield, that ain't going to happen.

Nobody said put his foot on the ground. I said don't lock his leg out. Hit him in the shin. That's fine. Do it with your leg bent, trying to cushion the blow, as opposed to locked out. I have tried it. Many, many times. Not rocket science.
