I was on my way to the airport during the game and sat down at the gate to watch highlights on my phone. As I was showing my 1 year old Martial's second goal I told her, "Chelsea will probably score a late equalizer but yaaaaay!" 30 seconds later, I get the notification of Barkley's goal.

I finally got some free time to watch an EPL match this morning and it's City v Southampton. That was brutal. 3-0 at 17'. 5-1 at 80' and City is high pressing. Seriously. Up 5-1 with 10' left and they are high pressing to score more. It ends 6-1 and could have been 10-1. Combination of a really good team and a really bad one.
Does Jose try want to aim at getting to the top of the group or settle for 2nd? Tonight's tactics will answer that question very quickly.

Damn him. I had written off the City game but now I'll be at least slightly intrigued. I still think they'll throttle us but there's like a 5% chance now they won't. Still haven't put together a dominating, 90 minute performance in months and that 1st half against Bournemouth was one of the worst I've ever seen.
It all depends on our first half performance. This game could be very close, or they could destroy us. I don't think we've got the squad to put a dominant performance on city, especially with our awful defense
Agreed but I'd like to see a dominant performance against someone, somewhere sometime before I die.
