Mourinho has said that he doesn't plan to play any of his players who were involved in the final weekend of games at the World Cup for 3 weeks. If he holds to that, there are going to be a number of players unavailable for the opening game.

He also threw some major shade at Woodward on RT when he said he had no idea why Perisic isn't a United player because he was very interested in adding him last summer.

IF we do part ways, I hope it's not after a winning season. That would set a dangerous precedent that any incoming managers might be wary of.

I generally don't pay attention to the rumor mill, but its being reported the Raiola was in town today and he was working to get PP out. Supposedly Barca made some BS offer to players that amounted to $0.10 on the $1. If the choice was get rid of Mou or lose PP, I know what side I'm on.

I don't think he wants to be at United anymore. If he wins this season, he'll go to the board and ask to leave. He can leave on a high, reputation and ego in tact. They'll come to a mutual understanding and thank each other and all that nonsense. And then United can get a manager that has the potential to be a longer term solution and should have good candidates at their disposal of it's after a strong season. It's a win win for everyone.

I don't think it's likely to play out that way. More likely is him leaving in a tizzy with dead bodies in his wake.
