Arsenal cannot win the league or the Champions league and while the Arsenal fans are now moving their pointer to the downvote button it will not change your team's attitude and your acceptance of it.
Arsenal are a betting man's fetish and that is because they do what is expected pretty much all the time bar 1 game in 3 months.
If you look at this season they won all the bottom table games apart from a couple of slip ups here and there in fact even less slip ups than the other contenders but whenever they have the odds against them their team just gives up and the fans accept it as "expected".
They have lost this season to United, Chelsea, Liverpool, City and then drawn to United, Everton & Chelsea etcetera in the top fixtures. Their biggest wins this season were against Tottenham and Liverpool back when the scouse were not in the form they are now and as Arsenal fans themselves love to remind us that Tottenham is not even a top team.
So if you want to bet on a club Arsenal is your one stop shop for it and that is why they wont land a trophy. Their players just dont have the mentality to pull it through against the odds which is what defines real champions. The best team in the world doesn't always win the Champions league and that is because they have the mentality to on their day take down any top team and they do it over and over again even if they dont have the players.
Now Arsenal fans will love to tell you stories of how they had the best year in 2013, how they have the best defender in the league and after 1 save how Schezeneneneny is now the hottest goal keeper in the league while Ramsey is even better than Ozil who by the way is better than most of your overrated players even on his off days. That just shows how gullible they are and are so accepting of mediocracy. This doesn't change the fact that to win the league they will end up needing wins against City & Chelsea and to win the Champions League they will need to beat teams even better than that and that is when Arsenal lack the mentality to do what is required. Their fans think that just scrapping points against bottom feeders will be enough well you forgot a couple of things:
1) Bottom teams will now be fighting for relegation and be tougher
2) Chelsea and City will also beat those bottom teams making it even tougher when you face them
3) You will then face Chelsea or City and other top teams which will be making life difficult for each other making all of them more dangerous
4) You have the toughest schedule still left
Their fans get sucked in when we keep saying they play beautiful football. Have they noticed teams who win trophies while playing beautiful football are not praised unanimously by other fans? Chelsea under Carlo won the double and broke the scoring record but still they were calling Arsenal the team playing beautiful football and that is simply because we all want them to play this 'beautiful football' like last night and keep on rolling over for us while their fans are just happy with getting their class rating increased. I like to imagine them as that women who gets 10 plastic surgeories then holds you by the collar of your shirt and screams at you to tell her she's beautiful with her crazy eyes and a knife close by on the kitchen counter. That seems like their only motive and as long as their fans keep getting that they stay happy. Ever noticed how Barca's tiki taka isn't called beaitiful when they win year after year with it? How fans moan about it being boring? They play on 4 times the level of your players but they win and that is the only difference apart from a class ranking difference.
So Arsenal fans need to wake up and be less happy with being mediocre and accepting these defeats just because they are expected to lose. Some of your players that you boo even left because of this because they don't want to rely on such a fragile mindset to get them team honours and seems like most of them did the right thing.
You cannot win the Champion League. You will come against a team better than you and you will lose. The only way you will win is for example when Bayern will secure a 1st leg easy win against you and then rest in the 2nd one still advancing to the next stage. Your fans will just be happy at beating them when it meant **** all and you will cling to that win for the next 5-6 years. It doesn't make you look good, it just further proves what I wrote. It isn't a depth problem as much as it is a problem woth your players ****ting the bed. Last night should have pissed you off so much especially Giroud who wants to pose for the camera more than he wants to do anything for the team.
Then again I don't want you to improve so please please keep on playing beautiful football and keep unloading 'money trophy hungry' unclassy players.

Mourinho is a master of hedging his bets. Chelsea could be 10 points clear and he'd still say someone else was the favorite. If he truly didn't care about Wenger he wouldn't talk about him so much. But he's right about the 8 years thing. He'd be at the bottom of the Black Sea with cement boots long before Chelsea went on an 8 year drought.
