Uh it was iffy. There was no way he could have gotten his arm down in time. Did look like he was trying to put his arms at his side though.

Speaking as someone who is still a soccer novice, why does Hazard seem to play relatively few minutes? Seems like he's earned more playing time than he's getting.

Hazard plays a lot. I think they wanted to give him a game off. However with only a 1 goal lead he was brought on to try and help out.

It's because of our schedule atm and that he just played 90+ minutes on Monday versus ManUre...

Thanks, I try to follow best I can, but I typically notice him coming in as a sub in the second half. Maybe I just catch it at weird times. I can really only follow individual games closely during the work week.
Hazard has played 52 games so far this year for The Chelsea. I am not sure how many he has started, but I would guess around 40.
In that case, it appears I whiffed bad on my observation.
No worries Scriffer. At least you are making an effort to pay attention.

Our schedule has gotten very compacted here toward the end of the PL season. We have a lot of players that play on their national teams, we're still in FA, Europa, and top 4 hunt. That means a lot of fixtures and not a lot of rest. Injuries setting in and fitness are great concerns to the manager, limited though his time may be.
My concerns:

Final. The Chelsea wins 3-1. First really good performance so far in the Europa League.
Thought The Chelsea played fairly well today. Luiz and Bertrand did well at the back. Ramires and Lampard were non factors. Mata and Hazard played brilliant as always. Hell even Torres came out and scored twice.
