I think at DM he is less exposed to hurt the club with his occasional bonehead play. Although, He tends to waste possessions with long range bombs. I noticed he missed some key connections tonight.

Maybe not enough sample size at DM to knee jerk on him but I have never been thrilled with his game in general.

Luiz has already scored a goal as a CDM. Obi has 175 appearances since 2006 and has yet to score a goal for Chelsea. I LOVE Luiz in his new position and believe he is better suited there, especially since he likes to push forward on the occasion.

I bet we sign Ba before the weekend...

We don't need him IF everyone else at that position pans out AND stays healthy which seems to never happen. I'm just pumped that we keep on adding Brazilians! This guy will be nice to have in the squad with Lamps leaving at years end.

Could they be thinking Taison at Striker and shelving Torres? Ba stepping right in and making an impact didn't help the perception of Torres' play of late.

It was terrific to see Ba have a good debut game, but even Torres has had some pretty good non-EPL outings this season. I still expect to see Torres in the rotation this season. I don't know much about Taison, maybe he could play striker. Hell, even Moses and Mata have played forward as of late.

Between Europa Cup, FA Cup, Capital One Cup, and the League, I think there are enough matches in there that Lamps will start/be a sub in enough to get 200. There's just a lot of fixtures.
