I actually was able to knock and talk to the guys inside, as there was brown paper blocking all the windows, they are closing down.
Saw a sign for another nail salon at Tower Point just down from the new Little Caesars.

They've been doing finish-out for the last week and a half.
There's most of a city block on wellborn next to double quick and swamp tails with a fence around it. More student apartments, probably?

There is fencing around some of the slumlord fourplexes on Wellborn just down from the new Domain. Looks like demolition is in the works.
Thank goodness ... that area was beginning to look really trashy. Especially since it fronted Wellborn.

I've been wondering just how that pathetic little OLD apt building on the SE corner of Bush and Welborn has survived. It must have seen Pres Ross ride into town and , one would think , has to be prime dirt!
With little city lots within walking distance of Kyle going for hundreds of thousands how long can those commercial "dumps" along that intersection last?

I guess Bush's Chicken is trying to enter this market. Not only is College Station getting a location, Bryan will also get one on Highway 21 across from the Wings 'N More Express. There is also a Hotel going in this location and another new hotel that just open down the street from this location. Also, the culvert along this portion of Highway 21 seem to be getting an upgrade to curbs and sidewalks.
Another development proposed for Bryan at the intersection of Sandy Point Road and Harvey Mitchell Parkway (2818), is a mixed use development. The development is not to far from Lake Bryan and will include a hotel, retail center, gas station, RV park, commercial space, and open space. I think this will be great for the Lake Bryan area.
That is all I will talk about for now. Too many new developments to mention them all at once.
