Hub Collaborative, a new co-working space, is under construction in the Mad Taco building.
Not yet open : Best Western Plus - Tower Point (at least I assume this and above are open) [10/23]
Anyone heard of the Aggieland Credit Union branch that's supposed to open at Tower Point? Sign has been there since the beginning of (Tower Point) time.
One of the loan officers said they bought the land early but it was a long term plan on actually building.
A Super 8 motel is proposed for the area close to Stripes in Bryan.
I passed by Arbano last Friday. The lights were off and it appeared unoccupied. This was at midday, on a Friday, semester in full swing. So I guess they're closed...again?
Same same situation at FroYoYo in the Woodstone shopping center. Rats. I liked taking the little egret there for a treat.
The A&M Outlet next to Best Buy also appears to be closed. Windows all covered up w/ butcher paper.
Baymont Inn & Suites - the one that people kept asking about because it seemed to start & stop - is finally open.

Despite the differences in what google reviews have for the two, Id say its only slightly better than papajohns.
A little more dough, little less pizza sauce. Probably slightly more ingredients. Otherwise, not much difference.
Oh, and if you elect to use the coupon (that came in the mail lately), make sure they ring it up correct. I handed my the person my credit card AND the coupon at the same time and even said I have a coupon. But when I checked the receipt, it still had the full price. I asked if the coupon was not valid and the person said oh, I got you.

I wondered the same thing yesterday. The open sign was off so I assume they are done before they even got started.
I tried to call in a to go order from them a few weeks back but no website and no number could be fuond online so it never happened. Trying to run a business in todays world without a website isn't very smart.
I don't think anyone is going to succeed in that location without significant advertising and some kind of draw to bring folks in. They have a small parking lot, poor signage and give you little idea what to expect unless you actually go in the place.
I hope someone local can put together something and make that place work, but I suspect it will take someone with restaurant experience and a good marketing strategy to succeed.

You may want to edit out your photobucket address. I don't know how but I know that there are many people on Texags who know how to check out all your uploads if they know they url address.

Adam Development is proposing a 410 acre mixed use development out by Copperfield off of Boonville Road in Bryan. They have to get the land rezoned first.

It seems like Don Adam likes to do for Bryan's East side what the city is doing for the West side. On the West side of Bryan the Atlas mixed use development is going up, now Adam wants one for his side of town. I wonder which will be bigger? And what does this mean for the big new development that is supposed to go in between University Drive and the Bryan Target center? Exciting times for Bryan if all of these developments happen.
