I disagree about El Pollo. I've eaten there a few times and really enjoyed it. I think that location was an issue though.
I liked El Pollo too. I would just get the chicken breast and the grilled half onion. Very good and I did not have a charcoal grill to clean up after.

I tried El Pollo Rico once...but crumbly corn tortillas, two small pieces (I think half a wing and something else) of dried chicken? Uhh no thanks. (Flaming Bird at the far north HEB was better, at least in my experience)
A raw juice bar is opening up next to the Subway on Rock Prairie (old Cement Skate Shop location). I was *just* over there and I can't remember the name, ugh.

Considering the number of businesses now included in this post, could OP consider adding a timestamp at the bottom when a revision is made to the first entry?

This is going to break a lot of hearts here but Pappdeaux has decided to pull out. Apparently the bldg is not going to work for what they want. I believe they are going to try to re-sell it

Good point. Pappas isn't known for dithering...when they decide to open a place, they do it.
FWIW I called the Pappas business office and was told "we are not releasing any information to the public on that at this time."
Scott & White ended up dragging their feet on moving out. One of the things I've noticed is Pappas tends to cluster their restaurants together, and that location isn't much bigger for two. Even if Pappas is no longer interested in that location, it could still be a chain restaurant or two, or they'll end up building in Tower Point. Maybe even both.
The Northgate juice place already opened.

Pappadeaux was always one of those "I'll believe it when they actually break ground" deals for me....

I may have missed this in previous threads, but does anyone know what is happening to La Bodega? Are they moving locations or closed for good? We drove by Saturday night and noticed the lights were off and a For Lease sign out front.

Seems like Razoo's is coming to town!!!!! The Best Western on the South Side of town won't open until March and it's a Best Western Plus 
There is a popcorn and more place opening in Bryan Towne Center in Bryan.
