There has never been a QB at this level with a bigger gap between their perception and their actual numbers/ability than Hurts. It's WILD.
Kudos to Philly for building a team around him so good that he can have success, but man it's frustrating to watch. Especially when I have to listen to Cowboys fans say it's impossible to win a SB with Dak.
The difference is the Eagles won the superbowl with his 2024 salary-cap hit was only $13.558 million - about 5% of the cap.
Dak is $47m this year and 15% of the cap.
Howie Roseman is good..

I'm ready for the season. This is the best cowboys team we've had in a while. I'm hopeful on Guyton working out at LT. You do it with an expensive QB and great young players playing prominent roles because of good drafting, or you do it with a young QB and a superstar roster. Or in Roseman's case, you do it with both phenomenal drafting, superstars, and a cheap QB that sucks
