Yeah, Steele got old quickly, and even at his best, he was in the "serviceable" category. Dak also has a history of seeing ghosts when his OT play gets shaky, so this is one massive wild card outside of injury that could really hamper what otherwise should be a great offense

Don't disagree on the Steele assesment... we probably need to make a move here.

But I disagree on Dak... I think he handles pressure off the edge pretty well. His biggest issue is pressure in his face (same for a lot of QBs). I think it's why Dallas has put a big emphasis on the middle.

Yeah RT is going to be a problem. Thomas has been getting 1st team reps in practice this week.

At a guess it will be less than last week. I doubt Downs and Revell play.

But I think I heard that Barham will make his debut and I'd expect Lawrence to get some reps (I'd like to see him play a half). I'll be watching those guys for sure.

On offense I'm really interested in the backup QB battle. Both played well last week.

That would be stunning, but there was a ton of pre draft talk about how Downs was the leader of that defense and Styles and Reese were both just crazy athletes and not necessarily elite at their spots. Still can't believe we got Caleb.

It's worth noting... Dan Quinn's resume is crazy good. But man, his talent evaluation sucks. He was personally responsible for Mazi, Sam Williams, and others. I would love nothing more than for Styles and Reese to be big time busts.

More often than not, you can tell pretty quick when a guy just can't play in the NFL. That being said, no way in hell Styles doesn't make the 53.

That would make more sense. I did a quick internet search and watched some of Styles preseason action... He didn't look very good honestly... Looked a lot like some of our recent LBs which is no bueno. But definitely not we gotta cut him bad.
