Looks like Milton has had several throws today where he's taken some off and used more touch.
They will have some tough choices at WR. Mingo looks like he finally gets it.

I like the way this team is being coached. Noticeable improvements in guys like Milton, Mingo, Shemar James, etc.
Blue was stumbling all over himself early. I'd like to see him get more carries. The kid has talent that nobody else on the team has... He needs more touches.

Agree on coaching. They were much more disciplined last year under Schotty too. I hope hes successful here.

Yep. Assuming he doesn't get claimed, I'm pretty sure we can keep a QB 3 on the team and it won't count against our 53. He can only be activated if one of our other QBs is injured.
Based on last week, I'd love to keep Sam if we can.
I'm not going to overhype LT Overton just because he made 1 play.... But he's not somebody that I've specifically watched, and yet, I've noticed him multiple times in 2 pre season games.
Kid seems to be moving the LOS and that's what you want to see. May not be saying much, but noticeable difference compared to what we ever saw from Mazi.

I'm not fighting for Blue.... I've been begging Dallas to draft a legit RB ever since I had a man crush on Gibbs (Detroit drafted him several picks ahead of us so not our fault).
But if we are sold on Davis as our primary #2, I like Blue as our change of pace back over Mafah. But this is looking like a spot we are gonna have to draft high very soon.

How did Howell look in the second half? If we think he can be a halfway decent backup, I'd be on the phone today trying to fleece someone on a Milton trade.

He looked OK. Made some things happen with his legs / awareness and made some good throws. Made a typical backup bonehead throw in the end zone that was picked off.
But Milton was lights out... He's our backup QB this year. The competition is over.
Barham looks like a future star, he has extraordinary instincts and vision for a rookie linebacker.
Feeling better about corner with Revel looking like an actual NFL player in this scheme.
I'll be shocked if we don't keep 6 receivers at this point. The top 4 are locked in and I just don't see any way they cut Mingo or Brown. I don't think either would make it through waivers after what they've put on film.

This may be where the cut to keep a sixth receiver happens and they only keep 3 TEs. I think the team almost certainly now keeping an additional receiver and corner than initially expected takes away chance Trigg had of making the roster.

Spot on…short of an injury or off the field issue, Milton has won the job…
And Howell was good last week and serviceable this week, but Milton separated himself big time last night…

Agree. In all the talk about figuring out a way to get Crosby and needing a CB and some even talking about getting another RB, the huge flashing red light is clearly OT. I think they figure something out this week.

I swore years ago I wouldn't buy any more Cowboys merch to help Jerruh out, but damnit if I'm not considering a Von jersey. Favorite Ag on my favorite team.
