This is the smart play. If not the cowboys could be looking at only 1 pick in the first 100. That's not good. They need those pick to either grab Downs or trade back

Genuinely shocked the Ravens of all teams gave up two firsts. This feels like a "we can't waste Lamar and what we've been doing isn't working" panic move for a franchise that just doesn't do stuff like this.

Rumored offer from the Cowboys was 12, next year's 2nd and Osa. Even that felt like too much.

Broadus was saying earlier that his sources said the Cowboys never made an offer. They were having conversations but that's as far as it got.

Who knows for sure, but very glad we walked away when the price got too high.

Has dealing two firsts for a defensive player ever worked out? I think for Cowboys fans this will end up going down similar to Earl Thomas or Jamal Adams from years past.

Mansoor Delane - I'm not sure yet if he's elite or if he took advantage of bad ball placement by QBs that he's likely not to see as much of in the NFL. Nothings jumped out at me on him, and I don't how much better he would be than one of the other CBs projected later in the 1st and early 2nd.

If Love is there at 12 (he won't be) and the best 4-5 defensive guys are off the board I'd take him. Hes probably the second best player in the draft and as close to a sure thing as it gets at this level.

Gave Aubrey a 2nd round tender with right to match. Good move.

I'm calling my shot. I think Love goes 4 to Tennessee.

He probably won't be, but he probably should be considering every team drafting before the Cowboys except KC.

I hate early running backs, but in the cowboys case and that particular RB, I'd take him and be happy.

If McCoy is as talented as I think he is, there's few outside of Bailey and by pure potential Reese and Styles that should go ahead of him.
