Well I flipping don't like it. Giving up a 3rd for a guy in the last year of his deal and isn't playing well since a neck injury.

I get that we are getting a 4th in return, but 3rd rounders are super valuable and we've done really well with those picks.

they had to do something. They couldn't go into the season w what they had at OT. I don't mind it. I think Pitt will not have a great record so that 4th might not be but 10 picks or so from that 3rd you're giving up.

And I suppose Mac is correct... their 4th rounder is hopefully not more than 20 picks from our 3rd. But the draft is my offseason fuel man and I hate giving away picks.

I don't mind the trade comp and the player. Former Georgia player with the Steelers, maybe magic will strike twice. The only thing I hate is that they had to make this move in the first place because Steele, Shelton, and Thomas (who likely gets cut) are showing very little.

Mafah was waived as well. I wonder if there's a guy potentially getting waived/cut they want instead (or is being shopped around the league). Would be shocked if they only went with 2 RBs on the roster

You hope, but don't expect 5th and 7th round picks to stick around long... Mafah and Blue are just data points in the law of averages.

Blue is really disappointing. I guess he traded maturity for talent this year... I saw absolutely nothing from him in the preseason games. Had no vision, looked hell bent on proving he could run in between the tackles and proved only that he went down too easily. He was a better runner last year.
